"Everything in the world is about sex except sex. Sex is about power."

― Oscar Wilde

Pedro clapped loudly, causing all those in the music room to clap along after watching how in tune Philip and Rhowette had been as they danced.

"That was wonderful. I think I should have you two as partners. It will make learning the steps in the other dances easier for you two," Pedro addressed Philip and Rhowette and Philip gently lifted her into an upright position.

Then addressing the entire group gathered Pedro exclaimed, "we are done for tonight, we will continue tomorrow evening. Good night."

Rhowette barely registered when Fiona tugged her away from Philip and towards the door. She was flushed an incapable of holding on to any coherent thought. Fiona on the other hand kept yapping about stuff that Rhowette couldn't comprehend. She heard something about soul mates and moon goddess and blind but nothing was making sense. When they reached the foot of the steps, Rhowette stopped Fiona, "Fii, I did not understand half of what you said, plus you need to head over for your family dinner and I need to pack."

Fiona frowned at the thought of the dinner but when she noticed how disconcerted Rhowette looked she grinned and willingly allowed the poor girl to go up to her room on her own. She probably had a lot of thoughts and feelings to sort out. Fiona smirked, looked like it was time to play match making, mating bond be damned.

Rhowette barely recalled when she finished packing and when she fell asleep, but the morning came too quickly and with it came a rushed breakfast before she was ushered out of the house and into a huge black car that felt too crowded for her due to the presence of Alpha Gregory and Beta Abraham. Apparently, according to them, they did not want to travel with a huge entourage so it was just the three of them and three pack warriors.

A short while later found the six individuals boarding a private jet in a privately owned airport. Rhowette who was clueless as to their destination was terribly unsettled since this was her first time flying. She clasped her hands tightly by her side and squeezed her eyes shut as the turbulence shook the air craft.

'More like flying death trap.' Her inner self piped up. A crescent moon cracked Rhowette's lips. Never had she been happier hearing the voice in her head than right now.

'You should be, I just light up the hearts of those around me.' The voice continued basking in the attention.

Rhowette inwardly chuckled, before letting her thoughts wonder to how her aunt might look like. Would she look like her mother? Would she even like her?

'She might probably resemble mum. And what's there not to like about us. Stop thinking these silly thoughts and try and catch some sleep. I'm pretty sure we would be landing in the next hour.'

Rhowette silently obeyed, which was kinda amusing cos she was the one talking to herself albeit she allowed all thoughts to shut down until she was jostled awake by the Alpha.

"We're here."

Nodding, Rhowette rubbed her hands over her face to get rid of the remnants of sleep, before pushing herself out of the seat and off the plane.

"Welcome to New York" Beta Abraham murmured from behind her as they walked out of the airport and into a waiting car.

"We do not want to spend much time here so everyone should quickly take a shower and change and meet me here in 20, so we can get this visitation cleared quickly." Alpha Gregory commanded, leaving no room for arguments the moment they stepped into their temporary residence.
