Flo POV:
                          
I collapse onto the bed, we're finally at the hotel. The car journey wasn't too long, I hope I do get to see more of LA in the next few days but like I said to Lou, I'd rather be spending time with them. 
                          
Harry, Lou, Lux and I have all separated off to unpack and are meeting to go the pool later on; the tactic is to get rid of all Lux's energy so she'll sleep tonight, apparently she can be bad with jet lag sometimes and Lou doesn't want to risk it. Lux is incredible, we've been getting on well and she seems to have warmed up to me quite quick, which is good for Lou too because I can watch Lux if she needs a break. The family conversation Lou mentioned before is making me slightly anxious, it's not that I don't want to talk to her about it, it's the way it makes me feel when I do.
                          
I take a deep breath and close my eyes, all I want to do is close my eyes and sleep, I'm exhausted. I hear a knock at the door and drag myself up off the bed, as I open the door I see Lux on the other side in a Little Mermaid swimsuit which she mentioned on the plane.
                          
"Oh wow!" I say excitedly. "You weren't lying when you talked about your favourite costume did you Lux." It's a cute kind of metallic blue swimsuit with a picture of Ariel on the front, she's one of Lux's top princess's.
                          
"Mummy says never to lie." She shakes her head. "Do you like Disney Flo?"
                          
I laugh because she's asked me this several times already. "You know I do silly, our best princess is the same remember."
                          
Lux scrunches her face together until she realises. "RAPUNZEL!" She says clapping her hands together.
                          
"That's right princess." I smile.
                          
"Can we swim now Flo? Pleaseeeeeee!" Lux whines showing her sad puppy face, which makes me think if she ever asks me for anything and pulls that face I'm done for. I couldn't say no to her.
                          
I kneel down to her level and shrug nonchalantly. "Hmmm I guess so. Let me just change and I'll meet yo..."
                          
"Lux!" Lou runs through their open door. "C'mon, I told you we could meet Flo at the pool and you can swim." She rolls her eyes and looks to me. "Sorry, she couldn't wait to show you the Ariel costume."
                          
"Oh it's a good thing I couldn't wait to see it!" I reply. "See you in 5?"
                          
Lou nods and takes Lux's hand before leading her back to their room. I quickly run over to my bag and find my swimsuit, Harry bought it for me before we got to the airport in London, knowing that I'd need it. He chose a plain, red, halter neck which sounds super simple but it really compliments my figure, using the hair tie on my wrist I pull my hair into a messy bun. This hotel provides towels so that't not a problem, before I leave I put on a sweatshirt, slip on my vans and head downstairs.
                          
Lou told me to go to the very bottom floor and when the elevator opens I'm blinded by the sunlight. I didn't expect it to open out onto the pool, it's quite quiet which I assume means there's not too many people around and that's good if Harry Styles is gonna turn up soon. I don't even have a chance to look for Lou before there's a tug on my sweatshirt and somebody hugging my leg.
                          
"Ready to swim?" I ask Lux as I ruffle her hair.
                          
"Yeah!" I take her hand, she leads me over to Lux and Harry.
                          
I see Harry waving at me. "We ordered you a water, we didn't know whether you'd want a cocktail." It's hard to miss him, wearing a bright yellow shirt with pineapples.
                          
"That's cool, I only dri...." Lux is tugging on my sweatshirt again. "...One sec Lux, I only drink water, tea and some soft drinks anyway." 
                          
"Flooooooo!" Lux is jumping up and down impatiently, I see she's already got her armbands on.
                          
"Okay, okay." I chuckle.
                          
I lift my sweatshirt over my head, it's oversized and baby blue, I can't remember where it's from but it's comfy. After untying my vans, I really need to get slip ons, I follow Lux to the pool.
                          
"Do you like swimming Lux?" I ask her sarcastically.
                          
"Yes lots and lots." She tells me, putting on her goggles with one hand and dragging a dingy in the other. 
                          
"Here." I take the dingy of her and carry it. "Have you got sun cream on?"
                          
She nods and stands on the top step into the water, I follow her lead and realise it's freezing. "It too cold Flo." Lux hugs herself very dramatically, she's not turning back now.
                          
"Lux, I'll show you a magic trick that makes the cold go away." I put my hands round her waist, pick her up and gently throw her into the water, making sure it's not too deep.
                          
"AHHHH!" She splashes as she comes back up. "It's warmer Flo."
                          
"Told you." I laugh. 
                          
I wade through the water until I meet Lux, I grab the dingy and pull it towards us. It's bright pink with lots of pretty blue and yellow flowers, Lux opens her arms and I pick her up and put her in. I take the yellow rope attached to start pulling her through the water.
                          
"Faster please Flo." I hear Lux call from behind me.
                          
I try to walk through the water as fast as I can, so fast in fact that the rope slips from my hand and Lux starts to float away.
                          
"Floooo!" She shouts waving her arms in the air. "Come get me." 
                          
Laughing hysterically, I make my way over to her but she's already jumped out and is swimming towards me, Frozen armbands helping her swim. When she's close enough I grab her and pull her close to me, she wraps her arms round my neck and splashes her legs. 
                          
"When we go home can you take me swimming Flo?" Lux asks me.
                          
The truth is I don't know what will happen when we get back to London, I'll be going back home and then what. For now, I decide to say something to keep Lux happy. "Of course honey."
                          
"Can go swim over there." She points to the deeper end of the pool.
                          
"No not there Luxy, how about over there." I point to the shallow end of the pool, I know she's got her armbands on but you can never be too careful. 
                          
"Okay." Lux wriggles out my arms and swims to the other side of the pool.
                          
I glance over to Lou and that's when I see him. 
                          
He's tall, tanned and muscular, his now short brown hair covered by a fedora...a few curls escaping from the back. He's wearing a loose fitted white tee and some baby blue swim trunks. I can make out the tattoos down his arm from here and vaguely spot the signature birds on his chest. His arm swiftly moves up to his head as he takes off the fedora and runs a hand through his hair before pushing the sunglasses off his face. 
                          
That's him.
