Jazmine's PoV
Jakaira and I sat and awaited our orders as she smiled at me. "Let's ask him who he is."

"Come on now," I started. "I'm sure that when I figure out where I know him from then his name will come back to me."

"You just are trying to avoid embarrassment." She teased.

"Come on, Kai." I smiled. "It's not like he has the time to entertain us right now. He's working."

Jakaira looked at me and then at "Whatever you say."

"Ticket: B32." The voice of the mystery boy sang.

Jakaira rose to her feet and waved at him. "That's us!"

"Jakaira!" I blushed.

"One Khao Pad and a Pad Thai, right?" He asked.

I nodded slowly as I walked over to him.

As I got in front of him, I gave the ticket to him so he could confirm. "If you're wondering, we go to the same church. You're in The Lions youth group, I'm one of the Shepherds."

My eyes shot open wide. "So that's where I know you from."

"Yeah, I hope you enjoy your meal and come again soon."

"Thanks, ummm..... ummm..."

"It's A.J."

Embarrassed, I turned to hide my face. "Thanks, A.J."

"You're welcome Jaz, I'll see you tomorrow." He said.

After lunch, Jakaira and I went to various stores including cosmetic stores. Jakaira wasn't a big fan of make up and would rather show her natural beauty and that was respectable.

As we walked past the technology zone, Jakaira's eyes light up. "Hey, Jazmine, let's go in here!"

"Jakaira, we went in the Apple store in our first half of shopping already, remember?"

She pulled me, advancing towards the Apple store she was excited to go in. "I know but, I just want to check something again."

"You mean the new Apple Watch?" I grinned.

The nod I received was one an adorable toddler showing teeth would give.

"Alright, let's go!" I approved.

After looking at the watches for 15 minutes, I saw just how much Jakaira wanted it in her eyes.

"If you want it, I'll pay for it."

"No Jazzy, I couldn't honestly ask you t-" she started.

"You're not asking." I smiled as I pulled out my credit card. "I'm offering."

"Okay, I'll get the simple black one over there." She pointed her fingers at the cheapest one that sat on the shelf behind me.

"No!" I exclaimed. "We're going to get the matching rose gold ones with diamonds, okay?"

"There's no arguing with you, is there?"

"Nope!"

After getting the watches, Jakaira was so cheerful that nothing could make her mood drop. She even got a milkshake spilt on her from someone in a rush and yet that didn't upset her.

It was soon time for us to be heading back towards home so we decided that we will stop by The Converse Store, The Addidas Store, The Nike Store and a few fragrance stores before we left.

Jakaira ended up getting a pair of Jordan's, which was kind of ironic due to that being her sister's name, a Nike hat, a Nike jacket and 3 pairs of Nike joggers.

Meanwhile, I bought 2 pairs of Converse, one of which I would give to my sister, some Addidas slacks, a pair of Addidas slides, A Nike jacket and 6 Nike joggers, both of which matched with Jakaira's.

"You know, we don't really need to stop at the fragrance store." Jakaira said. "You got a lot of perfumes home that smell great."

"I know, but, we're going there so I can get something for you."

"That won't be necessary." She waved her hands in an x motion. "I got everything I need and more. We did quite a lot of shopping already and I'm satisfied."

"Are you sure, Kai?" I prompted.

"100% positive!" She expressed as we made our way back to her car. After arriving, we placed the purchased items in the backseat and the trunk. "When do you plan on going to get your driver's license?"

"Honestly, I don't know but I hope sometime soon." I smiled. "I want to be able to drive myself to school and anywhere else I want to go without disturbing anyone to do it for me. I know that Frank has been my chauffeur forever but I believe he deserves a huge break. No need to be driving me around all of the time."

"That's how I felt." She responded. "I started taking my siblings to school to relieve mom from that stress everyday. Now she goes to work and on her way home she would collect Joshua from soccer practice and come home. Jordan usually gets on the school bus to get home, Jakku catches a bus home after her extra curricular activities and Jackson walks home with Sarafina after they run around the track."

"That's fair." I remarked as we started our journey home. "What's the deal with Sara and Jackson."

"You mean with how close they are?"

"Yeah!" I answered.

"They're best friends, for now at least." She replied. "I think soon enough they're going to end up together. I wouldn't mind that though. I approve. She's a good influence."

"He's definitely going to need someone like her to keep him out of trouble." I chuckled.

"Ain't that the truth."

The ride home felt shorter than going up but I guess that's natural. Coming home always seems quicker. Not wanting to leave the leather seats, I sat back for a while longer, hearing the giggles of Jakaira.

"Let me guess, the seats are way too comfortable and you want to stay in them forever?"

"Girl, you have no idea!" I exclaimed. "Unfortunately, I have to though. I'm going to get my stuff and let you get on your way. It's quite a drive for you."

Jakaira opened the trunk and helped me with my bags. "An hour and a half drive home isn't really too bad and that's usually with traffic."

"Once you get home safely and you don't feel too lonely, I'm going to be less worried." I assured.

"Okay, mom."

We laughed for a bit and then when we settled, I embraced her as I got a little serious. "Thanks a lot for today, Jakaira, it was really needed."

"No problem, let's do it again soon."

"Sure, once the show is over, it will be easier for us to do this often." I said as I opened the door.

As soon as the door was opened, my little brother ran right out and jumped right into my arms. "Jazmine!"

"Hey Jerry." I smiled. "Say hi to Jakaira."

"Hey Kai!"

"Hey Jeremy." She chuckled. "You all have a good night and I'll see you later."

After she drove off, I took my stuff and my brother inside the house.

"Good night everyone!" I greeted.

"Good night."

"How was it, Jaz?" Jamie asked.

"It was great!"
