To say members have been immaturely avoiding Jaebum would be the truth. That's what they've been doing.

After that scene in the living room, every time anyone would see the leader, either no worlds, or a nasty glare would be sent his way.

This, obviously, excludes Yugyeom, who, although not really remembering what happened that night, he claimed it was all fuzzy, still sometimes stays around the elder, cuddled with him and or giving him kisses.

And what has Jaebum been saying about this whole situation?

Well, to put it short, he still hadn't given Yugyeom his phone back.

"Why don't you trust him?" Youngjae hisses one day when he finally decided to confront Jaebum again.

Except it wasn't going as he planned. Jaebum was stubborn as hell.

"I do," he simply replied, shrugging his shoulders as if this conversation was the most casual one out there.

"Then give him his freedom back," Youngjae whispers, trying very hard not to yell.

"When you say it like that, it makes me seem like the bad guy," the older tsks, and although he may indeed be older, Youngjae wanted nothing more than to step on his throat.

"You are. You're... Controlling," Youngjae sighs, not knowing how else to put it. Jaebum was indeed being controlling.

But Jaebum didn't know that. Which is why he took heavy offense to what came out of the younger's mouth.

"Youngjae, I want the best for him," Jaebum says sharply, almost making Youngjae wanna cry out.

Because Jaebum doesn't realize that he's doing the exact opposite of making sure Yugyeom has the best.

He's restricting Yugyeom, and the maknae is too blinded by his affection to see it.

"The let him do what he wants. Don't make him feel controlled, because he's not a doll."

As Jaebum was going to open his mouth to reply, Mark bursts through the door.

The two younger ones look at where Mark is standing, panting heavily.

He didn't even talk for a few seconds because he was trying to catch his breath.

"Studio... Y-Yugyeom..."

At that, both Youngjae and Jaebum were sprinting out of the recording booth they were arguing in and dashed towards the dance studio. Mark right behind them.

Once they barged into the dance studio, at first they couldn't see Yugyeom, since the other band mates were covering and towering over his form.

But once they moved away, they both saw the problem.

Yugyeom ankle was as big as a balloon.

Red, swollen, and not the pretty red and swollen things like Yugyeom's lips after kissing too much, no. This red and swollen looked painful.

"What happened?" Jaebum asks Jinyoung, getting straight to the point. Because if Yugyeom needed serious attention, then they'd have to get a move on with things.

"Had a nasty fall while dancing," he explains, biting his lip while looking down at the youngest. "I wanna take him to a hospital but that might raise concern with the fans."

While the 'parents' were talking about how to discreetly take Yugyeom to the hospital, Bambam was the one kneeling beside the boy in pain, while the the others circled him.

"Baby where does it hurt?" Bambam asks, lolling the maknae's head up with his two fingers.

"Ah, it hurts everywhere. My whole foot is throbbing," Yugyeom hisses, not even an inch close to boyfriend mode.

Contrary to popular belief, Yugyeom isn't a pain crier.

As a dancer, he's obviously had multiple injuries, and he's just used to it.

To be honest, he's had worse things happen to him.

"But I think it's broken," the maknae adds with a pout, tilting his head to the side. "Yeah, I'm almost pretty sure it is."

"Come on, let's get you into the van," Jinyoung sighs, helping Yugyeom into his open arms.

Once the maknae was clinging onto Jinyoung like a koala, did he notice that Jaebum was in the room.

"Are you okay? That looks super painful," the leader asks, coming up next to Yugyeom and push the hair out of his forehead.

"I'm okay hyung," the youngest assures, smiling lightly before Jinyoung starts to walk to the van.

——

It was quite the boring drive and quite the normal experience at the hospital.

Yugyeom was correct, his ankle was indeed broken, and would take approximately six weeks to heal.

"You guys~ I'm fine, really! I don't need the attention," Yugyeom insists, not wanting his hyungs to fuss when he was capable of taking care of himself.

"You're on crutches, you need to be taken care of," Jackson says, fluffing up the pillow behind Yugyeom.

"You're crippled, you need assistance," Mark continues, placing a tray of dinner on the coffee table.

"And you love it, don't try to act like you don't," Bambam laughs, exposing Yugyeom because yes, of  course he loves it.

"You caught me," the youngest sheepishly smiles, smiling at all his hyungs.

The only hyung that wasn't there was Jaebum, since he was busy dealing with the manager and how to plan out schedules now that they were one member down.

To be honest, the only person who was missing him a lot in the moment was Yugyeom.

Since the others were still 'mad' at Jaebum.

"Sneaky little boy. So cute," Youngjae says, ruffling the maknae's hair.

After earning a giggle, Youngjae was deemed as satisfied, and till late into the night, everyone was babying Yugyeom, and the youngest really wasn't anyone to complain.
