Waking up with a head-splitting headache was the worst way to start any morning.

The moment I opened my eyes, I immediately gripped the bedsheet and grit my teeth trying to push through the searing pain in my temple. Luckily, it soon dissipated and only my heavy breathing remained. It took me a few moments before I had an idea of where I was. I looked around and realized my roommate wasn't in his bed. Instead of getting up and looking for him, however, I stayed down and let my mind catch up on whatever happened to make me feel like shit.

Camila Cabello can read minds.

"Holy shit," I breathed out. My crush can read minds, how bizarre was that? I almost got killed only to find out she had an insane ability like that. But then—I looked around the room again—why was I here?

Okay, calm down, Y/N. I tried to steady my heart but my mind was in overdrive. The last thing I remembered was someone's eyes—Lauren I think her name was. Her eyes began shifting, like galaxies moving, and then she said 'sleep'. After that, I couldn't remember anything anymore.

Was that... actually a dream?

I groaned and buried my face in my hands. I'm probably insane or watched too many comic book movies. It feels so real, like it really happened but I still can't believe it. It had to be a dream, right?

Glancing at the clock on my bedside table, I realized I already missed my morning classes. I would have to get some notes from someone later. Right now, I needed to talk to someone about this because I was possibly going crazy.

Luckily, Shawn left me a note on the table saying he was in the library if I needed him. I immediately made myself remotely presentable before I ran out of the room and took the elevator down the lobby. I hurried out the door but before I could step outside, I chanced a glance behind me and saw Camila and her friends talking in one of the tables.

They sat there, laughing and enjoying each other's company. It didn't seem like anything was out of place. It was hard to believe that they really actually kidnapped me and made me promise not to spill Camila's secret. Surprisingly, one of them looked up and our eyes met. It was the short blonde who scared me the most out of all of them. However, this time, I didn't back down and waited for her to say something or address me just so I could be sure them kidnapping me wasn't just a nightmare.

But she didn't.

She just looked back at her friends without even smiling or nodding at me.

Damn, so it really was a dream.

Not wanting to confuse myself further, I quickly turned around and jogged towards the library. There weren't that many people here at any given time. One, because there were only three thousand of us and most were still at their classes, and secondly, most students just check out their book so they could work in their rooms.

It didn't take me long to find Shawn in one of the big tables in the far end. He was sketching something on a big, white canvas. I sat down beside him, tapping his shoulder so he would notice. He looked up at me and pulled down his earphones.

"Hey, Y/N," he said in hushed tones. "Did you not have class today?"

I sighed and massaged my temples. "I did. But I overslept."

"See, this is why I told you to hang your schedule on the door so I could wake you up if you need me to." He shook his head and turned his body to face me. "What happened anyway? It's not like you to oversleep or anything."

"I know," I groaned. "But Shawn, something weird happened to me... or well, I think it did but it might just be a dream."

"You... had a dream?"
