Barry's POV. 
A lot happened in two days. Barry and Patty were now officially together. Cisco was apparently a meta and could vibe where metas from earth 2 were. Barry defeated Dr. Light and locked her up. She told him that after she killed the Flash that she was to take his emblem off and then Zoom would bring her home. 
                          
Barry and the team came up with a plan. They had Earth 2 Linda act like she was Dr. Light and pretend to defeat the Flash, take his emblem off and call for Zoom. When Zoom came the plan was to trap and defeat him, but he never came. The plan failed. Barry was so upset. 
                          
He talked to Joe and told him why defeating Zoom was so important to him. Dr. Wells had said in his video he left to Barry that Barry would never be happy. Barry was now starting to wonder if what he said had been true. Thawn did know future Barry. 
                          
Joe told Barry that it didn't matter what Dr. Wells has said. What Barry needed to do was to live his life now and be happy. 
                          
Barry thought about Joe's words. What made him happy? Ella did, but that would never be. Patty. Patty was what made him happy now. 
                          
Barry ran back to CCPD and found Patty walking down the hall. She came up to him, on her phone, with a smile. "Hey!" "Hey." Barry smiled. "Have you seen this video of babies' expressions as they go through tunnels? Their faces are priceless. I'm not baby crazy or..." 
                          
Yeah Barry smiled at her as she talked and walked closer to her, pushing her against the wall. He leaned in a kissed her gently. She responded happily. It wasn't a long kiss, but he wanted to show her what she meant to him already. Barry pulled away and smiled at her. 
                          
"Wow. What did I do to deserve that?" Patty asked breathlessly. "I've just been thinking about what makes me happy, and getting to know you makes me happy." Barry answered. Patty laughed softly. "We should do more of that then." Just then Barry heard someone clear their throat softly. 
                          
He turned his head and his eyes widened. "Ella?" 
                          
Ella's POV.
                          
Ella woke up early and went to work. After her long day she decided to go to the CCPD and see Barry. She had decided to talk to him and tell him her true feelings. 
                          
Ella walked into the CCPD and found Joe. "Hey Ella." Joe smiled. He looked quite tired. "Hey, Joe do you know where Barry is?" "He just went upstairs. He's probably in his lab." Joe told her. Ella smiled. "Thanks." "No problem." 
                          
Ella walked upstairs and heard Barry's voice. She turned the corner to find Barry with his hands on the hips of who she assumed was Patty. She was pushed up against the wall. They were both grinning at and making lovey dovy eyes at one another. Ella's heart clenched. He looked incredibly happy. She remembered when she used to be that happy. 
                          
Ella cleared her throat. Barry and Patty's heads both snapped to her. Ella stood there awkwardly, already regretting her decision of coming. Barry's eyes widened briefly, but soon his face grew to confusion. "Ella?" 
                          
Patty looked from Ella to Barry. She seemed to be confused. Ella smiled awkwardly. "Hey, Barry." Barry looked at Patty and then back to Ella and back to Patty again. He backed away from her and Patty looked down. She was obviously embarrassed that Ella had caught them in the situation she had. She stood a little behind Barry. 
                          
"Uh, um. . .W-What are you doing here?" He asked scratching the back of his head. Ella's heart dropped. That was not the way she had hoped he would greet her, but then again she had interrupted their little intimate moment.
