The next morning Mia woke up before anybody else in her room, as they had all partied extremely hard last night. She quickly grabbed her uniform and book and headed out of the dorm, careful not to wake anyone else. She then realized that she hadn't finished her homework, but was sure that Clara would be able to help over breakfast.

As she walked downstairs she carefully maneuvered through the obstacle course of people who couldn't even make it up to their room. The disheveled group consisted of a majority of sixth and seventh years as well as Pansy and Millicent.

Silently she walked out of the dungeons and trekked towards the Great Hall. She walked into the Hall and saw the Slytherin Table mostly empty, except for first and second years. She walked over to the Hufflepuff table took her usual seat, where Taylor and Clara were already waiting.

"Mia, how was your night?" Taylor said raising her eyebrow and looking towards the practically empty Slytherin table.

"Mine was fine, but I don't know if I can say the same for my housemates, though. I do need some help finishing this homework really quickly. Also, I did get to spend some time with you know who!" Mia said taking out her textbooks and pointing out which exercises she had to finish up.

Clara's jaw dropped.

"The dark lord?" Taylor joked, which caused Mia to roll her eyes.

Evelyn strolled into the Great Hall and put her books down on the table and placed her head on top of them. "Man, am I tired."

"Have a long night?" Mia responded grabbing some toast while Clara worked on Mia's Arithmancy problems.

"Not really. I got to the party late because I was doing astronomy homework." Evelyn added.

"Wow! I am proud of you, Den!" Clara said high fiving Evelyn. Mia suddenly cleared her throat as someone walked up to them.

"Hey, Taylor. You left these in the common room yesterday and I figured you would want them." Cedric said handing Taylor her glasses. She smiled after she composed herself.

"Good luck today, Ced. If that Goblet has any sense you'll be picked." Clara said, distracting Cedric since Taylor was in no position for conversation.

"Thanks, Clara," Cedric said putting his hands in his pockets and looking around the hall. Evelyn and Mia tried to look as nonchalant as possible. "Looks like the Hall is pretty empty. Mind if I join you guys for breakfast this morning?"

Taylor practically fell off the bench as Evelyn, Mia, and Clara nodded. Eventually, more of the Quidditch team members came down to join the group and although Taylor was barely able to speak a coherent sentence, she couldn't believe that she had eaten breakfast with Cedric.

After their eventful breakfast, the girls scattered to their classes. They all chuckled to themselves as they walked in, seeing the state of other students.

Classes drudged by painfully slowly. Nobody was in any kind of mood to pay attention and it even seemed like the Professors didn't want to teach. The excitement was mounting for the Triwizard Champions to be announced. No one quite knew what to expect, but they couldn't wait to find.

Right when classes, students rushed out of the classrooms and the hallways were buzzing with excitement and conversations. In only a couple of hours, they knew who would be competing in the tournament.

Taylor had just finished her Arithmancy class and was about to walk out the door when she heard Professor Vector called her back in.

"Taylor, I've really noticed a change in your score on your assignments. Keep up the good work!" She said placing a hand on Taylor's shoulder and nodding proudly. Taylor was shocked, Professor Vector was known for being a tough Professor and never gave anyone compliments.
