In those four seconds, Rochelle could do nothing but blink, her hand cupping her sore, ringing jaw as she just blinked at Mena. Astonished. The hit came a lot quicker than she'd expected. It was a stern blow to the mouth, just missing her nostrils. Rochelle moved her jaw around, running her tongue across her teeth to check for any blood. When the metallic taste greeted the tip of her tongue she removed her hand from her jaw, bringing her fingertips to her face to check. Red blood covered her fingertips. Rage surged through her, waking her up and bringing her back to reality.
"You're pissed," Rochelle screamed as she tried to make a lunge for Mena only to get pulled back by Dee. This aggravated Rochelle more as she tried to fight her way out of Dee's hold but he was too strong. With his arms wrapped securely around her waist she had no chance of getting free.
"Let her go, Dee," Mena fussed, struggling out of Jade and Shan's grasp as they tried to calm her down, "I've had enough of this mad bitch. Let her put her hands on me."
Mular was jogging towards them, raising his voice as he tried to be heard above the music but nobody was listening to him, even as he approached Mena and gripped her tightly around the wrist to try and pull her back. She just shrugged out of his grasp and glared at Rochelle. Mena didn't know if it was the alcohol in her system or just the fact that Rochelle's mouth was beginning to really piss her off, but all she knew was that she wanted to fight Rochelle.
"Wack bitch," Rochelle chuckled, eyeing Mena up and down in distaste as she still tried to wriggle out of Dee's hold, "you got me when I didn't expect it. Come for me now and see what happens to you."
Mena tried to fight her way towards Rochelle, only for Mular to wrap her up in his arms, both his strong arms around her whole body, almost squeezing her guts out of her. "Get off," she moaned through gritted teeth at Mular, only for him to hold her tighter, "I've had enough of this girl."
Mular was livid, Rochelle wasn't even his girl and here she was starting fights with Mena. And not long ago it had been Keisha she was trying to fight. He felt like smashing his fist into Rochelle's face and breaking her nose. Who the fuck did she think she was? He was telling her to relax herself and to not start no drama because it was unnecessary but like always Rochelle didn't want to listen, storming over to Keisha to start with her like she had the authority to do so. And then she had the cheek to constantly free herself out of his grip whenever he was trying to pull her away from the bullshit. And now, here she was again in shit with Mena. To be honest, Mular was fuming with the two of them. Mena had a cast on her arm and she was still trying to fight people.
"Nah!" Rochelle shouted at Dee who was trying to calm her down. "She needs to get humbled, somebody needs to humble the bitch, always talking shit like she's higher than everybody. I've had enough of it and then you lot are always backing her like you haven't known me from when."
Surprisingly, the music had not got cut off somebody had just turned it down a little so that the commotion could be heard loud and clear. The attention the two girls had brought to themselves angered Mular even more, they were embarrassing him.
"Mular, get off me," Mena spoke through gritted teeth as she yanked her arms out of his grip once again. Suddenly her body flung forwards and she turned around to scowl at him from the push she had just received. Everybody turned towards Mular in shock, some were laughing and others were just watching silently.
"Act proper, Mena," Mular warned calmly, though inside he was erupting like a volcano, "carrying on like one little dumb hoodlum. Why are you even bothering with this bitch?" with a kiss of his teeth he held his hand out in direction of Rochelle to show who he was speaking about. "You know better man, c'mon. You don't need to be out here fighting no bitch especially when you got your arm in one cast."
