Evan helped me put my stuff in my new room,"thanks for all your help Evan."I said."N-No problem Jeremy..."he said,I noticed he was fidgeting with his fidget cube."Evan,if you don't mind me asking,why do you alway fidget with that?"i asked,he hesitated.
                          
"O-Oh,well...um...I have social anxiety Jeremy,I-it's hard for me to communicate with some people."he explained,"oh...."I said."Well do you have any friends to help you?"i asked,"J-Just my family friend Jared,B-But he's only friends with me for my car insurance...."he said.
                          
"That's not a good friend..."I said,he laughed nervously."Y-Yeah,I know...."he said.he was silent for 5 seconds,"I do have...another friend..."he said as he sat down on my bed.i sat down next to him,"you promise you won't tell mom?"he asked.
                          
I held out a pinky,"pinky promise."I said.we shook pinky's,he cleared his through."T-This friend of mine...he's my crush..."he said,he pointed at the name written on his cast."H-His name is Connor...."he said,I smiled."Aw,Evan's got a crush!"I said,he looked at me nervously.
                          
I took out my phone,"see the guy next to me?"i said as I opened a photo.he nodded,"That's my boyfriend Michael!"I said."we've been friends for 12 years,we finally confessed our feeling for each other at the Park."I explained,"W-Wow....wish I was able to confess to Connor..."he said.
                          
I patted him on the back,"don't worry step bro,I'm sure you'll be able to!in fact,I'll help you!"i said.he looked at me and smiled,"R-Really?"he asked,I nodded.he hugged me,"t-thanks big step brother..."he said.
