11 | SON OF ODIN"You didn't tell me you were dying!" Indra pushed Tony away from her as he was about to be sent to some location with Nick Fury.
"You didn't tell me you took a pregnancy test." Tony argued.
"You-" Indra began.
"No! You were trying to hide it from me, weren't you? You weren't gonna tell me." Tony accused.
Indra crossed her arms and brushed past him. She was tired of his antics. She needed a break. "Have fun where ever you're going with Mr. Fury." She angrily waved him off.

Indra ended up being whisked away by Nick Fury's order to go with him and Agent Phil Coulson to New Mexico while Tony figured out his palladium problem. Turned out, Tony was dying. The palladium in his arc reactor was toxic and was sweeping into his blood. Nick Fury simply provided him with his father's research to aid him in finding a cure. Tony continued to fix his arc reactor problem and stop other copies of his suit from being made while Indra was sent to work in New Mexico. Nick Fury found her brilliance useful in the situation they were trying to assess about the hammer that fell out of the sky and won't budge from the ground. Indra found the opportunity necessary for her. She needed a break from Tony's chaotic life. She never signed up to be a hero. She wanted to be an innovative engineer. That was all she ever wanted.
As soon as she arrived in New Mexico, Agent Coulson had Indra sign a large amount of paperwork to be inducted as a SHIELD agent. She signed on as a level 8 agent and had instant access to all the information she needed to study the hammer in New Mexico.

The site of the hammer was enclosed in a SHIELD quarantine tent where dozens of scientist were testing and analyzing the hammer. "Where'd you get all this info from?" Indra asked as she observed the hammer. It was late at night and scientists were still swarming around the hammer and attempting to understand it.
"A new scientist by the name of Jane Foster. Locals thought it was a satellite." One scientist snickered as he scribbled down some information.
Suddenly, an alarm went off in the tent. There was a perimeter breach. "We need eyes up high, with a gun. Ms. Badu please stay where you are. Defend the hammer at all costs." Phil Coulson's voice could be heard over the walkie talkie that was pinned on Indra's belt. All of the scientists in the quarantine scattered and went off to take cover.
A frenzy was unleashed throughout the entire camp as shouts could be heard over the walkie about some man that had breached the perimeter and had broke into the quarantine tents as he easily ripped through dozens of agents.
Indra nervously waited by the hammer, and within minutes- someone rushed into the tent. She planted her feet and readied herself to take the man down. The man was tall, had long, blond hair and a built figure. Indra gulped as she realized she was a quarter of his size, but she kept her fighting stance to keep him from trying to rob the hammer.
"And what are you going to do to the mighty Thor, son of Odin?" The man smirked at her pettiness.
Indra growled and charged at the man. She easily slid under him and tripped him on the ground. She hastily got up and pinned him to the floor. He managed to gain control over her and shoved her aside. He ran to the hammer and attempted to pull at it. He failed to pull it out of the ground and began to strangely scream at the sky. He had become utterly depressed within moments of realizing he couldn't do it. Security then flooded into the room and detained him for his efforts.

Coulson instantly sent in Indra to an interrogation room with him to question the invader that tried to steal the hammer. "You made my men and woman, some of the most highly train professionals in the world, look like a bunch of minimum-wage mall cops. That's hurtful. In my experience, it takes someone who's received similar training to do what you did to them. Why don't you tell me where you received your training? Pakistan? Chechnya? Afghanistan? No, you strike me more as the soldier of fortune type. Where was it? South Africa?" Coulson continued to attempt to get the man to speak. But to no avail, the man remained silent.
Suddenly, Coulson's pager went off, causing him to have to leave the room. Indra remained in the room with the strong man and took a seat. "So... Thor, son of Odin. You into Norse Mythology or something?" Indra chuckled as she leaned back in her chair and began picking at her nails.
Thor suddenly began to tear up. "Hey, hey. Are you okay?" Indra rushed to his side to make sure the lunatic wouldn't have a mental breakdown and burn down the place.
Before he could even speak to her, a visitor for him had arrived. "Oh, Donny, Donny, Donny. There you are. You're gonna be all right. I'm taking you home now." The visitor spoke as he pulled Thor out of the room and off of the camp.
As they were leaving, Phil hurried over to Indra and whispered to her: "follow them."
Indra nodded and began her trek. She followed the two to a nearby bar. She got a drink for herself and watched the two carefully. Nothing much happened except for them conversing and having a beer. As requested, Indra reported back the activity then continued on with her research.
