She wanted to continued walking away from him, but his tone so desperate  for her to listen it almost made her want to apologize to him for  making him feel that way "what?" she stopped turning to look at him as  she starred into his eyes his palms began to feel clammy and sweaty. 
                          
He  looked down as the nervousness took over his body stopping him from  talking "I-I. ." she growing frustrated, she has come to notice that  every time he tries to speak what's in his heart his mind gets in the  way.
                          
"If you're not going to say anything than I find it useless  to be standing here in silence" the anger back in her tone growing  impatient as he turned back to look at her but kept the silence alive.
                          
He  wants to tell her exactly what he planned, that she has stolen his  heart but the fear of rejection kept ringing in this mind so he chocked.
                          
"I  just miss you so much Sel" he said instead, she had hoped for something  better to come out of his mouth disappointment in her eyes. 
                          
"That's  it?" she replied "you could've just send me that in another damn  message" shaking her head in annoyance as she looked back at the café  where Garret was standing by the window, just making sure she's okay.
                          
Nick  followed her gaze and when he saw the guy standing there, if smoke  could come out of his ears he would be fuming right now turning his  attention back to her "just tell me how you feel?!" he angrily whispered  containing himself from shouting at her.
                          
As his penetrated gaze  stared into hers, she doesn't want to give in after what he did and he  hasn't apologize properly, so looking away "just give me time Nick"  softly she replied and began to turn around but his strong hand grabbed  her lower arm, stopping her from any movement of trying to get away from  him before she lost her battle with herself.
                          
"Did you already  start talking to someone else?" he spat, he didn't want the jealousy to  come out but that's all he can think off right now "is that it?!" he  continued.
                          
How could he even think that, she thought "just tell  me right now Selena and I swear. . ." she cut him off "Nick let me go.  ." shaking his head "no answer my question and if your answer is yes. ."  he paused because just thinking the words he's about to say, gives his  chest a stronger ache than what he has been feeling "I'll leave you  alone cause it seems like that's what you want".
                          
"No..." she  whispered as he let go of her lower arm; the morning was cold, making  both their cheeks turn to a shade of pink as the air blew through the  half empty street; "I don't want that". 
                          
"Selena..."his strong  gaze connected with her sad one, he needed to know what she was  thinking; did she feel the strong connection pulling her in like it was  pulling him or did she simply not care at all, "I need to know".
                          
A  few tears descended from her eyes as she bit down on her bottom lip, "I  really missed you too" she sighed as a slight whimper parted through  her lips; "I'm sorry".
                          
 He couldn't help but smile as he pulled  her into a tight embrace, "don't be sorry, I'm the one that messed up"  he cooed as he inhaled her sweet perfume; oh how he had missed that  innocent voice of hers and the shine in her eyes that didn't waste time  putting him in a trance, "can you do me the honor of spending this  beautiful Saturday with me" he asked her as he slowly pecked her cheek.
                          
"I don't know, are you going to ditch me half way" she smirked knowing that it was getting to him.
                          
"I  don't plan on leaving your side all day, I want to spend every minute  with this pretty young lady" his deep voice carried out a fake southern  accent as he jokingly put Selena over his shoulder, "now where to  beautiful".
                          
"Where ever the road takes us" she said as her laughter roared through the parking lot. 
                          
For  both Nick and Selena it was easy to ignore the world around them when  they are together but at the same time some things cannot be ignored,  because behind every fantasy hides the harsh reality no one likes to  face.
