~Roman's POV~

I slowly awoke to see Virgil still cuddled into my arms. He looked peaceful. I looked around to see Thomas curled in a ball in the other end of the sofa, but Patton and Logan were gone from their bed on the floor.
Where the hell did they go?
I felt Virgil shift in my arms slightly.

"You awake Virge?" J whispered quietly in his ear.
"Mmhm." He turned his head slightly so I could see his face. "I'm awake."

I slowly sat up pulling Virgil up with me. He stayed cuddled to my chest.

"I'm cold." I felt him shiver in my arms. I looked around for his hoodie which he had taken off before we went to bed. There was no sign of his hoodie so I pulled the blanket off of the back of the sofa and placed it over him.

"Better?"
"Yeah."

We sat in silence for a minute before I heard footsteps. I turned my head to see Patton walking back into the room, Logan following behind him.

"Where did you two go?" I questioned.
"We went to get dressed. We weren't going to keep the same clothes on from yesterday." Logan replied in his normal monotone voice.

There was a moment of awkward silence before Patton broke it, "Who wants breakfast?"
"I would like some breakfast, I am quite hungry." Logan replied as he and Patton walked over to the kitchen.
"Can someone wake Thomas up." Patton asked as he walked into the kitchen.
"Sure." I responded as I carefully moved Virgil off of my lap. I shook Thomas slightly causing him to stir. "Thomas, wake up."

Thomas let out a small grumble as he slowly opened his eyes. "I'm awake."

Virgil was curled in a ball under the blanket that I had place over him. He was shivering even though the room was quite warm.

"You ok Virgil?" I asked walking back over to the shivering person. The only answer I got was a shake of Virgil's head. I slowly sat down next to Virgil and took his hand in mine. Virgil flinched away from Me as soon as I touched him.
"Hey, it's just me."
"S-s-so.... AH"
Virgil quickly brought his hands to his head and his breathing started to become uneven. I carefully pulled him onto my lap as Patton and Logan came running over.
"Roman what happened?"
"I don't know, all I did was touch his hand."
"Kiddo don't worry it's just us." Patton carefully took Virgil's hand in his.

Virgil's breathing had become even more uneven. It seemed like he could barely breath. Logan carefully crouched down infront of Virgil.
"Virgil remember the breathing technique I taught you?"
Virgil nodded slightly in response.
"Try it, it might help."

Virgil started to try and breath in and out slowly. At first it started to work, his breathing started to steady when he suddenly took a sharp breath and his breathing quickened.

"Guys what's happening?" Panic laced Thomas's voice.
"I don't know. This isn't a normal attack." Patton had now got Virgil in his arms trying to comfort him while I ran my fingers through Virgil's hair. "If this was a normal attack he would of started to calm by now.
Virgil was still shaking and his breathing was still uneven.

Virgil's body went limp in Pattons arms. Logan quickly realised and checked to make sure he was still breathing.
"He's passed out." Logan said in his normal monotone voice.
"What?" Thomas was clearly confused by the whole situation.
"With some people if they get way to stressed or panicked they pass out. This happens to Virgil and I."
"Since when and why didn't I know about this?"
"It has happened for as long as we have existed, it was less common when we were younger."

There was a moment of silence before Roman spoke up. "Do you think this has something to do with Agni?"
"Im not sure. It is likely though. We need to make Agni fade, soon."
"Fade?" Thomas's voice was full of confusion.
"Sides of you can't die, we can only Fade. Only one of us has the ability to make someone fade."
"And which of you is that?"

Logan said nothing all he did was looked towards Patton and I who were now laying Virgil down on the sofa and wrapping him in a blanket.

"Oh."

~3rd Person POV~

Logan, Roman, Patton and Thomas all sat in the main room talking. It was mainly Logan, Patton and Roman explaining things that Thomas didn't know about them.

It had been about 15 minutes since Virgil had passed out and he had only just started to stur. Roman was quickly by his side. Virgil slowly opened his eyes only to quickly close them again.
"Too bright." Virgil whispered so quietly that the others could barely hear him.

Logan quickly dimmed the lights as Virgil started to open his eyes again.

"How are you feeling Virgil?" Roman asked as he helped Virgil sit up.
"Fine. Did I pass out?"
"Yeah."
"How long?"
"For only about 15 minutes."

There was a moment of silence as they all sat there not knowing what to say. That was until Logan broke it.

"We need to deal with Agni, now."

A/N finally a new chapter. I know I said in the last chapter that shit was gonna happen but I decided that I would put that off until next chapter otherwise this chapter would be so long and would take me even longer to write than this already did.

Sorry I haven't updated this story much. As you all know it was recently Christmas and I've struggled to get through it this year. I haven't said anything about why on any of my social media accounts so sorry that I just kinda went quiet. I recently lost someone very close to me and I've been struggling without them. They were such a big part of who I am and it's been hard without them and I thought forcing myself to write wouldn't help. The next chapter might not be out for a few weeks as I am concentrating on my metal health (which isn't the best at the moment).

I want to get more chapters out but I've mainly been concentrating on getting through Christmas without the person I lost and writing more chapters has just seemed like a choir, not something fun.

Well I'm sorry for rambeling. I do that alot. I hope you all are enjoying this story and thank you so much for over 500 reads. Seeing that people are actually reading and enjoying my book brings a smile to my face.

I will see all you in the next chapter (hopefully.)
