I am surprised to even see Bruce out of the cave, but I think Alfred may have had something to do with that. And Selina being here. 
  Tim comes running in with his computer in his hands,"Guys, I just found- Oh, hey, Brooke." Tim stops when he notices me, smiling,"I think Dick is up in his room." 
  I nod and smile at the seventeen year old, but I don't even think he notices as he runs to Bruce, his head ducked to read his computer.
  Alfred seems to have prepared for actually Christmas, making me smile too. 
  Dick found out that my family and I were big on Christmas when I was little, so as a sort of celebration for not dying, he asked his family to throw a Christmas party for Selina and I. 
  When I found out, I couldn't believe it, because I didn't think the passing comment about it would mean anything to him, but it did. And it means a lot to me that he was willing to have a second Christmas in May of all times. 
  Leaving the room, I turn to try to find Dick, realizing I haven't ever been in his room here. I find the stairs and quickly make my way up them, only to stop when I see his door close as I finally get to the top. 
  "Not funny, open up." I say, knocking on the door. 
  "What's the password?" He says in a sing-song voice.
  "Open up or you will be going to this dinner a single man." I smirk as the door opens to reveal a pouting Dick. 
"That's not the password." 
  "Close enough." I shrug with a laugh,"Come on, I think dinner is almost ready." 
  "Hey." He grabs my hand and pulls me closer,"Look up." 
  My eyes meet a poorly hung mistletoe on the top of his door.
  "Would you look at that, I remember hearing that if you ignore a mistletoe then you get bad luc-"
  I cut him off by giving him a short kiss, pulling him in by his shirt. 
  He pulls back smiling brightly, nearly taking my breath away with how good he looks,"Merry Christmas." 
  "Merry Christmas." My smile mirrors his as I grab his hand and we start walking, but I quickly stop at all of the pictures hanging on the wall. 
  "This is Tim, you, Damian..." I stop when I realize I didn't see one of the boys down stairs,"Where is Jason?" 
  "He said he had, and I quote,'Important business to attend to.'" He shrugs hugging me from behind, his arms wrapping around my waist as his head rests on my shoulder. 
  I frown thinking of the red hood and how much he did for me this last year. He was part of the reason we knew about me being hunted and then he watched over me. 
  He did also try to kill me, but I think I am close to forgiving him for that. 
"Do you think he is ok?" 
  "I think... He has been through a lot. A little bit like you. He needs time." He sighs, and I hear the want in his voice; he wants his brother back. 
  But after being horribly murdered, after being brought back to life, is there a way to get back to some sense of normal?
  "I had help," I say, turning to look at Dick, resting my hands on his chest as his tighten around my waist. "He doesn't."
  "He doesn't want our help. Trust me, I've tried," He says, seeing the look on my face. "I hope he finds someone who he will let in, someone who can help, but that's only for him to decide," He reassures me, his eyes studying me before he places a kiss to my forehead,"We should go down stairs." 
  The frown on my face disappears as I quickly push him back a few feet as sprint down the stairs,"Race ya." 
"Hey, that's cheating!"
