"Brooklyn, please don't cry. I'm okay, princess."
I say softly, holding her face in my hands.

"Teddy, I'm so sorry."

Tears stream down her face.

I wipe them away with my thumbs but they just keep on falling.

Red.

Her eyes are red.

My heart cracks.

Seeing her cry is affecting me so much.

I can feel my eyes getting all teary.

"I'm okay, Angel. For real, I'm fine. Please don't cry."
I whisper, wiping my own face with the back of my hand.

She sniffles.

"Okay......okay."

I smile wobbly, stroking her cheek lovingly. She doesn't know that. It's just a regular hand motion to her. It means so much more than that to me.

I haven't told her about how I really feel about her, due to the fear in my heart that she'll leave me as soon as she finds out.

I can't lose her.

"This is why I didn't tell you. I didn't want you treating me like a fragile baby. I want you to treat me like your Teddy."
I whisper, my palm moving slowly against her cheek.

She sniffles again, folding her hands over mind.

"My Teddy?"
She asks, blushing a little.

I nod, staring into her tear filled eyes.

"Yes, Princess. Your Teddy. Only yours."

.

.

.

I continue to stare at her as she sleeps, stroking her hair slowly.

She cried.

Because of me.

It hurt her knowing that I got hurt.

I can't even begin to explain what that did to my heart.

It's been so long since I've felt so much as a thump in my heart. Now, just seeing her face or hearing her voice makes my heart thump a mile a minute.

Is that what love feels like?

Am I really in love?

I scratch her scalp lightly, causing her to groan in her sleep, leaning closer.

I smile, doing it again.

I would do anything to please my angel.

I love seeing those pretty eyes filled with joy.

I think that's the best thing about her.

My baby girl's eyes.

All she has to do is bat those sexy eyelashes and I'd do anything. Like I said earlier.

Except go to hell.

I wouldn't go to hell for anyone.

Not even mum.

I'm terrified of hell. It's the one of my worst fears, to die and be sentenced to life with the devil.

Anyway.

My hand tangles in her mane and I smile slowly, loving the feel of her silky hair.

Another thing is that I've found out recently that it takes only a little to get me jealous.
