"Oh no, really, Pidge?" Kai sighed, "I told you that pollen was dangerous to experiment with and now you've reversed all the paladins' ages by ten rotations, even your own. At least Shiro can still help," she said.
"I'll do what I can but I am only fifteen now, I'm younger than you," Shiro crossed his arms.
"You are a very responsible teen though and you still have that sense of authority about you," Kai replied then felt five-year-old Pidge clinging to her legs.
"You're pwetty," Pidge said with a wide smile, missing a tooth.
"I see that your mental age has also been reversed, but thank you, you are very pretty too," the Kalvorian smiled right before she was tackled to the ground by the younger paladins, not having heard the now seven year old Lance shout 'Dog pile'.
"Guys! Leave Kai alone, get off of her!" Shiro said as he tried to remove Hunk, also seven, who was sitting on Kai's stomach.
Eight year old Keith grinned and laughed brightly, "Kai! I love Kai!" he said and hugged her around the neck.
"Well I never expected younger Keith to be so expressive," Kai said and hugged him back.
Lance was pouting, "Hey, I wanna hug her!" he cried and tried to pull Keith away and this resulted in them fighting each other which Shiro broke up.
"Hey, no fighting you two," the black paladin said as he held each of them back.
At that moment is when Allura happened to walk in and see the young paladins, "What happened in here?"
Kai sighed, "Pidge was experimenting with the pollen of a flower she found and reversed the ages of the ones present in the room at the time which happened to be the paladins of Voltron," she explained, "The affects wear off in twenty vargas so until then I'll keep an eye on them with Shiro's help."
"I'll do my best, Princess," Shiro said and Lance escaped, running over to Allura.
"'Lura, 'Lura!" he bounced with a grin.
The princess crouched and patted Lance's head, "Hello there, Lance, my aren't you handsome today?" she smiled.
Lance blushed and hid his face in his hands then Shiro came over, pulling the blue paladin away.
"Okay, no bothering the princess, she has business to attend to," he said.
"Thank you, do make sure they don't get into trouble," Allura said and left.
Kai sat up and Hunk fell into her lap, "Alright, let's get you all some clothes that fit, something that will stretch so it doesn't rip when you change back later," she stated then stood and Hunk clung to her free leg, Pidge still hasn't released her opposite leg.
                          
Soon the paladins are all dressed in clothing that will stretch when they change back but fit nicely for now. The paladins were eating, Shiro was feeding Lance and Hunk while Kai took to feeding Keith and Pidge. They soon fed themselves but Kai continued to feed the youngest the green goop that passed as food in the castle since she was fussy about eating the bad tasting goo.

                          
"Aww, come on, pretty please, Cuta? It's good for you and it doesn't taste that bad, I'll eat a bite and show you if you want," Kai smiled.
"You can't taste it!" five year old Pidge accused.
"And you remember, alright how about some special space juice instead?" Kai smiled.
"Yay, juith!" Pidge cheered, not able to properly say juice because of her missing tooth.
Kai went to the kitchen and got five pouches of the clear, slightly fruity tasting space juice, bringing them back and handing them out, even giving one to Shiro who thanked her. The paladins happily drank their juice and Kai transformed into a giant wolf.
Shiro smiled, "Come on guys, let's go ride on the doggie's back," he said but earned a soft growl from Kai.
"She's a wolfie, not a doggie," Keith said and climbed onto her back, Lance and Hunk following.
Kai picked up Pidge by the back of the shirt and carried them all to the lounge where she let the four younger ones down on the floor before curling around them. She purred and began grooming Lance first since he was farthest from her head then groomed them all, ending with Keith who was snuggled into the soft fur of her neck. They were all lulled to sleep by her purring and Shiro sat next to her with a smile.
"Nice job but I doubt they'll stay asleep until they change back," he whispered to her.
She smiled and hooked her paw around his waist, pulling the teen leader against her and laying her head down on the floor.

                          
"Okay you are super soft, maybe they will stay asleep," he yawned towards the tail end of his sentence and fell fast asleep.
Kai continued purring, falling into a light sleep as the paladins slept deeply against her. The Kalvorian wolf girl woke at the weight change against her, peeking an eye open to see everyone still fast asleep but back to normal now. Hunk was the first to wake then he snuck off, probably to the kitchen to get a snack then head to his room. Kai felt Shiro wake but she guessed that he didn't want to get up as he snuggled further into her fur. Lance woke next and blushed, probably remembering that Allura called him handsome so he left. Pidge grumbled and shifted until she finally woke with a groan, she sat up but immediately brightened when she saw Keith was strangely still deep asleep against Kai. Pidge ran off only to return with a homemade camera and started taking pictures of Keith and Kai, some of which Kai posed for and put the sleeping Keith in embarrassing positions. Kai acted like she was grooming Keith's hair then nuzzled his chest and slipped her muzzle under his arm all for Pidge's pictures until she grew tired and curled around the red paladin who still slept, he must have been really tired or he was faking, Kai was fine with either possibility as she fell fast asleep against the teen boy. Shiro decided to get up now and leave as Pidge slipped close and snuggled in too.
