Irina POV 
                          
So it was now 5pm and the party started at 2pm and ended at 10pm. In those 3 hours my friend making progress was low. I mostly talked to Rydel and told her about Australia and my friends back there. But I did though talk to Kelli Berglund, Olivia Holt and Dove Cameron. They were so all so nice to me. I wasn't really expecting that. Even though I am half American I look more Malaysian and since I didn't talk much people thought I didn't understand English. I learnt that there are a lot of racist people in Australia. I wasn't quite sure about America though. 
                          
"Hi." I heard a male voice coming from behind me. 
I turned around to find Riker. 
"Hey." I replied back. 
"So, made any new friends yet?" He raised his eyebrows. 
"Um well just Rydel."
"Would I be considered your friend?"
I honestly didn't know what to say. "Yes" 
"Ok then friend tell me about your self."
I told Riker all about myself. When I was with Riker I felt like I could tell him anything. He then told me about himself. I saw him looking at his watch. "It's time to head to the beach."
He got up from the couch we were sitting on. I got up too and looked for Rydel. I finally found her but with Ratliff. "Hey Rydel. We are going to the beach now." 
"Oh ok. This is Ellington, but you call him Ratliff." 
"Hi Ratliff"
"Hey." He replied.
An awkward silence fell between us. 
"Ok I'm going to help Ross get the stuff for the beach." He said then waking off. That was awkward. 
"So what are we going to the beach for?" I asked Rydel. 
"We are going to have a bon fire. It's only for us the adults will stay here. It'll be fun come on." She pulled me out the door meeting Kelli, Olivia and Dove again. 
"Hey Irina." 
"Hey guys." I was getting used to this whole making new friends thing. 
The five of us talked as we took the 5 minute walk to the beach. Then we came to the subject of boys. We all sat in a circle on the sand as all the boys took off their shirts and ran into the water I couldn't help but stare at Ross in particular. 
"Sooo Irina. Who you lookin' at." I heard Olivia say in a teasing voice. I immediately looked away. "What are you talking about?" 
"Ooohhh someone's got a crush." Dove said. They started giggling again as I rolled my eyes. 
I looked over to Kelli and she was staring at Billy Unger. I tapped Olivia who was next to me. And looked over at Kelli. 
"Kelli, getting some eye candy huh?"
Olivia said. We all started laughing except for Kelli. 
"You should go talk to him." I blurted out. What am I saying? I don't know anything about relationships.
"What no!"
"Come on." 
"Fine. Only if you talk to Ross."
"What?!" I said in shock. 
Rydel started laughing she pulled Kelli and I up. 
"Come on guys. You can do it."
Rydel walked up to them with us. Heart beating louder and harder every step I took. I stopped and looked over to Kelli. "I can't do this."
"Neither can I." Rydel looked at us she took our arms and dragged us towards the boys. I could hear Olivia and Dove laughing. We finally reached the water which was where they were. 
"Hey" Ross said. 
"Hey" I said back trying to keep my eyes nowhere near his abs. 
"So are you enjoying the party?"
"Yup. You're a great host." 
"Thanks." He said. 
"So what are you planning to do once it gets dark?" 
"We'll, I was planning to have a Bon fire and sing songs by the fire here in the beach." He said walking back to the shore getting his towel to dry himself off. 
"Cool. I heard your in a band?" I pretended. I obviously knew. Luckily I didn't wear the pic necklace today. 
"Yea. I'm the lead singer."
"Cool. Can't wait to here your voice." I lied but at that moment Laura Marano came running towards us and talking to Ross about the Austin and Ally script. I was about to turn around and head back to where Olivia, Dove and Rydel were but I felt a strong hand grab my wrist. I turned around and saw it was Ross. 
"I want to talk to you later." He told me. I nodded and continued walking back to find Olivia and Dove laughing. 
"How did it go?" Olivia asked. 
"What did he say?" Dove followed up. 
"He's totally into you" Rydel said. 
I told them everything that happened. I looked around to see Kelli still talking to Billy. Ross, Rocky, Riker, Ratliff and Matthias where getting the wood set up for the fire. Us girls started talking about girly things. I really got to know them all. The sun was just starting to set and the boys had set everything up already. 
"Irina. Ross is coming this way!" Olivia whispered to me. I turned around to find it was true. 
"Hey" he said. 
"Hi" I got up and we started walking along the beach until we found a nice spot to sit. We both sat down. Ross started talking about his band, and I talked about Australia. He made me laugh at least once in every minute. He got to know me and I got to know him. "So your brother is 15?!"
"Yea he is. I know he looks 19."
I had to mentally pinch myself to make sure this wasn't a dream. We watched the sun set as we talked more. Rocky suddenly came running up to us telling us that we were going to light the Bon fire now. We ran back to where everyone was and they started the fire. Since I got to know Ross I thought to my self I can get to know other people too. So I got to know Raini, Calum and Laura. Then I got to know Billy, Spencer and TJ. They all had a great personality. I really love California.
