Joel's PoV 
In approximately 7 days it would be Lizzie's birthday, her first birthday with me being her boyfriend. I had to get her something special and I had the perfect idea. Lizzie loved cats. It was official she was the "crazy cat lady". She'd always wanted one and after talking to her parents they agreed I could get her one. I had chosen (out of a litter of 5) a black. White and gingery tan one with dazzling hazel eyes, he was perfect. I was to pick him up a day before Lizzie's birthday on the Sunday and she could name him then. For now it was time for bed and to face school tomorrow. 
                          
I woke up at 6 and got dressed. I had some coco pops and a glass of coke. "Excuse me, Joel do u not think it's a bit early for that foul substance?" My mum questioned me. She was probably the only person I knew who hated coke. I grumbled "no" and "going to be late". So I downed my drink, threw my empty bowl in the sink and went out- slamming the door behind me. I marched to the bus stop. 
                          
"Hey, what's wrong?" Lizzie asked stroking my ice- Cold hands. "Mother issues" I replied. She nodded and said, "soooo no Yammy I guess". "You'll be fine babe, I told her, after all you have meeee".  
                          
She shook her head in agreement and the bus arrived. We walked on and headed straight to the top. To our disappointment so did Jemma. 
                          
Jm- hello pink haired freak, and her smoking hot boyfriend who is blind to see he should be with me 
Jo- are u blind to see how desperate u look??
Jm- hmmm
L- haha, what do u want 
Jm- well where is yammy?
L- u tell me
Jm- word has it she's pregnant 
L- *clenches fists, her nails dig into the palm of her hands and cuts it*
Jo- * reassures lizzie* she's just messing with u 
Jm- ugh, u two are so lovey Dovey it makes me sick adios 
L- hasta luego *see u soon*
Jo- i hope not *chuckles
