Mable's POV

It was getting late by the time Candy and Grenda left the mystery shack. We had been watching ducktective, and sneaking around giving Grunkle Stan bad makeovers all day. I was starting to get worried about Dipper. He had left the house pretty early this morning and he hadn't returned. It's ok he'll be back in a few minutes I thought, but he wasn't. I waited for half an hour and he hadn't come back.

It was almost 9:00 when I decided to tell Grunkle Stan and Ford.

I ran down stairs to find Ford sitting at the table writing in a leather book with a golden six fingered hand on the front and a number for within it.

"Grunkle Ford Dipper is missing ," I said worriedly.

"He hasn't come home yet?!" Grunkle Ford  asked.

"No," I replied.

"We need to go out and look for him! Stanley get out here," Ford shouted into the living room as he rushed to put his coat on. I ran to put on my shoes. We ran out the door with Grunkle Stan trailing behind us.

We had been walking around the whole town searching for Dipper. We ended up going to the mall, the highschool, the arcade, we even went to Soos's grandma's house. It was almost 11:00 now and everyone starting feeling a bit frantic. We had searched almost every where except...

"THE WOODS!" I exclaimed loudly. "We haven't looked in the woods!"

"Of course, Why had I not thought of that earlier. Its the first place we should have looked," Ford said, rubbing his temples. I grabbed my grunkles and ran off toward the forest.

It had been another two hours of searching we had been to every destination in the woods when Grunkle Stan said,

" Mable, We should probably go home. It's really late and you need sleep."

"No! We have to keep looking," I insisted.

"Mable, we can't keep up like this. We're all tired, and searching through dark woods in the middle of the night won't help. Besides Dipper could be at home sitting on the couch wondering where we are. While we're still out here."

"Ok," I said reluctantly, "but if Dipper isn't at home we are getting up at six o'clock  to look for him."

"Agreed, Ford do you know a way home?"

"Yes there should be a clearing  just a short walk away, and then navigating home should be easy. " Ford said checking a map in his new journal.

We walked down a small trail that wove between the trees. After a bit we arrived in the clearing that Ford had talked about. In the center of the moss covered forest floor a large flat rock stood. It took me a moment to realize what I was looking at, but then I saw.

"Bill cipher!"

"No need to freak out its just a statue." Ford said calmly, "I discovered it shortly after weirdmeggedon I think it is the only remnant of Bill left in this world." I opened my mouth to interject but Ford cut in again "yes I've  tried destroying it I can't. It seems that we will never fully able to get rid of him."
"Oh," I said disappointment tinging my voice.

We continued across the clearing. And when we neared the other side of the rock I noticed a figure on the floor. I ran over to them only to discover the person lying , face flat on the ground, unconscious was Dipper.

~~~commence short brake for suspense~~~
"Dipper!" I shouted as I tried to wake him up "Dipper!" I called again. Dipper don't be dead." I said desperately.
"Mable calm down, Dipper is fine he was just knocked out" Ford reasoned, but I could hear the masked worry coming from his voice. "We should carry him home, and find out what happened to him when he wakes up, it probably wouldn't go down to well at the hospital, if someone showed up with multiple criminal charges, and the other legally dead."
"Ok," I replied. The Grunkles picked him up  and we walked out of the woods, and to the mystery shack.
