Hanzo's POV:
I resumed my spying on Mccree and Genji covered up for me when Jesse got curious of my where abouts. He was "determined to find you" as Genji said.
I didn't know what to do. I loved him with all my heart, but I don't know if he felt the same now.
"You should start again with him, take him to familiar places, tell him familiar phrases, he might remember what he left behind." Ana suggested.
"Some people may think having the chance to start again is a gift, but I didn't want anything to change between us. My luck is just rotten." I spat. I wanted to kill who ever did this to Jesse. Get rid of Talon. I need to calm down, I'm letting my head get the best of me.
"Oh but I'm sure meeting Mccree isn't bad luck." I blushed. I would to anything to hug him now, like we did before.
I thanked Ana for her suggestion, and continued to watch my Mccree, it knew it was too risky to train on facility, so I took time to go to a local gym and run through the city.
------
Genji invited me to meditate and clear my mind. He also wanted to talk about my plan with Mccree."Mccree will have to wait, I want to complete his mission."
"So go to the Route: 66 Talon base, and get your self killed."
I was speechless, Genji was always blunt though. "Do you have another plan?"
"No, but I'll come with you, see if we can get someone else on board."
"I don't want anyone to get hurt." I said worried, Genji never listened.
"It's too late now, Hanzo. I am going to help you through your pain, as a brother should." I never knew that Genji could act as pure and kind as that. But as I looked to thank him, he was gone.
Genji appeared in my room later that evening to make our plan and help gather our supplies.
------
Genji's POV:Lena and I were still on ship McHanzo, we'd probably never leave. So we are going to devise another plan to get them together.
"Hello, love! What brings you by?" She said happily. Tracer was training in a combat simulator while talking to me.
"Hanzo wants to infiltrate Talon's base, so I offered to 'help' him by going together along with someone else."
"Now who could that be?" she smiled devilishly.
"We need to make sure he is combat ready soon, because Hanzo and I have made our plan to attack. Hanzo's idea is to skydive down to Route: 66 at a walking distance from the base. Since the old Overwatch base was gone we will have to bring all of our supplies with us. Their base was all technology opperated so we will take one of Overwatch's hardrives to hack into the mainframe so we can sneak in and out. Sombra and her team will have the place back running in a matter of minutes so we need to be quick. Hanzo doesn't like overthought plans, just simple and to the point."
"Wow! Great thinking and good luck. Also don't get killed either please." Lena chirped as she finished off the last enemy in the simulation.
"Encouraging, thank you! We will be back soon." she nodded. "And Mccree better be fixed." I couldn't give her the death glare, but she got the point.
Ana's POV:
I visited Mccree to see how he had adjusted, and noticed a little scar on his neck.
"What is this?" I asked, pointing my finger to his neck.
"Huh? I don't know what yer talkin' about." he lifted in hand to his neck and felt the cut. "Mercy never told me anything about a scar. We should tell her about it."
------
"After an x-ray scan, there seems to be a metal object in your neck that is affecting memory processing. I never noticed it before and don't know where it came from, but I will check the rest of the team who went on the Route: 66 mission." Mercy said. After a few hours she found that the whole team had had their memories replaced during the time of the mission.
I told Hanzo about this and that he should have hope that Mccree's memories would return. He was happy but quietly muttered a few things to himself as he walked away. I'll have to keep and eye on him.
Hanzo's POV:
What Ana had just told he had simply added fuel to the fire, I was motivated even more to stop Talon for the sake of my team and Jesse.
Genji hadn't found another person to assist, so it was going to be like old times
Like training together all those years ago.
We are leaving tomorrow morning at daybreak. Hopefully I will come back to a well and restored Mccree.
------
A few hours of sleepless night had passed and I couldn't stand not taking the chance to say good bye to Mccree, I snuck into his room and watched his chest rise and fall as he slept away. I bowed my head and kissed his chapped lips. His taste and tobacco scent flooded my senses and I didn't know if I could stop this. I was hungry for Mccree's touch. I moaned into the one-sided kiss, but he started to wake and I silently said my parting words as I darted out of his room. I could hear his sweet Southern accent as he tried to find who had been in his room.I met with Genji in the hangar. Our pilot, who was sworn to secrecy (and paid a ton of money by Genji :-\ ), was ready to leave. The rising sun blinded my eyes as we took off for Talon.
------
The flight had taken 15 hours. My bag was packed with grenades and all sorts of things. We had already made it to the base."Are you ready, brother?" I nodded and we moved fast using the evening shadows to our advantage. We entered through the guards' quarters, and quickly explored the base, surprisingly it didn't have as much surveillance as we thought. We found a control panel in one of the corridors and found a password. I inserted the hardrive and the panel was opened, we found out what they bought. They weren't weapons, but machines for genetic engineering. A woman named Moira O'Deorain was opperating everything. Bitch, you're going to pay.
Jesse and the team. The metal chips.
Genji was right on my train of thought. "We must shut down this facility." he said.
"I don't think so." After an electric whir Sombra appeared. Doomfist ran in on the opposite side. Genji was quick and threw his shurikens then deflected Sombra's projectile. "Go!" he yelled, and I ran towards Doomfist only to slide right under him. I shot an arrow right in the middle of his chest as he turned around to chase me. I planted the bombs and threw grenades into the open rooms. I wasn't going to leave Genji, but if he didn't make it out in time, he knew the consequence and I really hope Doomfist dies today.
I had escaped, and Genji had 30 seconds to get out here. I got my communication device to contact the pilot to get ready for take off. I heard a ghost like sound and turned to see Moira. She hit me with some type of beam that sucked the life out of my body. I was in pain as I crouched to my knees.
"You must be the coyboy's boyfriend. How cute." She made a sad face then smiled wickedly as the power from the beams increased. I yelled. "You'll be my next test subject." he laugh was disgusting. I mustered enough strength to kick her in the leg. She fell and I picked up my bow. I shot her in the heart. Ended."Great idea, very blunt... now let's go, what are you waiting for?" Genji was standing next to me, arms crossed.
I smiled, seeing that he was alright, and I tapped the bomb trigger. We ran to the plane and I heard the base explode. Damn, that felt great.
