*Sebastian's POV*

[ F L A S H B A C K ]

Mycroft opens the door slowly, holding it so I can walk in behind him. My heart hammers in my chest. I'm greatful that Mycroft is giving me this chance, in fact if this succeeds I owe him big time! The palms of my hands begin to become sweaty, so I wipe them on my jeans, attempting to remove the shiny substance from them. It has been almost three years since I've seen him.

My Charles.

It seems like only yesterday that it happened. Charles and I were on a job. We were sent to kill the CEO of a company that our buyer wanted to own herself. It had a good reward, so Charles and I decided to take it. We always did the job together. We couldn't risk anything going sideways, and if we weren't there if one of us got killed, we would've never forgiven ourselves, and so we stuck together. We were like two peas in a pod! But of course everything went wrong. We completed the job - I shot the CEO right between the eyeballs, but we didn't register that there was a witness behind us.

James Moriarty.

He wore that famous smirk of his and that famous suit. Charles and I were unsure of what to do, but James started to threaten us. I knew that when our eyes met in the lowly lit room that he found me attractive. He didn't deny it either. He said that he'd kill us both if I didn't agree to work for him, so of course I excepted but there was a price - I could no longer see my Charles again. Jim gets jealous. That was almost three years ago when I was taken away, and now I'm finally seeing him again. I'm nervous as hell!

I follow Mycroft to a nearby table for two in the corner of the bar. It's fairly crowded, as the Americans watch the football on the TV screen that hangs above the bar. I take a seat, and I scan the room for any sign of Charles, but nothing turns up.

"Are you sure he's here?" I ask Mycroft worriedly, as I continue to scan the bar. Mycroft places his umbrella on the table, and crosses one leg over the other.

"Of course. I know where he is at all times." He replies casually and I raise an eyebrow in response.

"You do?" I question, folding my arms across my chest and leaning back in my wooden chair. He smiles his famous smile and hums.

"Charles is a very dangerous man. Men like you and him turn up on our radar, and we track you for the wellfare of our country. But, turns out you've escaped our radar Mr Moran." His stare becomes cold, but I can only smirk in response.

"Lucky me." I reply smugly, but Mycroft's expression remains cold. "I guess that's a good reason to be on James Moriarty's side." I continue, a sneer appearing on my face when I mention that bastards name. Mycroft hums in agreement.

"Remember our deal Sebastian. We're only here for you. Don't make me regret it!" Mycroft replies threateningly. I nod my head, knowing fully well not to double cross him.

"I know, and I won't. I've already told you everything that I know, this is you upholding your part of the bargain." Mycroft smiles in response, and looks down at the table.

"Yes, it is. That information was very valuable Sebastian. I'm glad that you came to your senses."

"I've always had my senses. Moriarty is a bastard, and I was going to betray him eventually. You just gave me an opportunity...and a reward." Mycroft leans forward, and clasps his hands together on the table.

"Yes, but you won't be getting your reward just yet." I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and my lips fold into a frown. Mycroft smiles.

"What do you mean I'm not getting my reward? I upheld my part of the bargain!" I whisper angrily, not wanting to draw attention to ourselves by causing a scene. Mycroft sighs aloud, and frustration fills my body. This skinny man can't be seriously fucking with me?
