* Alexandra's P.O.V *
                          
We stood frozen and posed for attack  . How dare he ! How dare he show up . I glared at him with a hatred that burned through his soul. The source of my anguish for the last millenium . Niklaus and I growled .
                          
" Hello , children . " Mikael said .
                          
I was the first to speak . 
                          
" How dare you ! " I snarled . 
                          
" Ahh ... my darling Alexandra Nikolina . " he said , smiling aa cruel smile .
                          
I was about to lose it and you could tell . 
                          
" Alexandra . " Bekah cautioned .
                          
I walked up and stood a few feet away , facing my father  .
                          
" Go to hell . " I growled , spiting in his face.
                          
I heard gasps and then Mikael and I were on the floor clawing and snagging at eachother's skin . Finally Elijah and Niklaus pulled me off of him and pushed me behind them protectively .
                          
" I HATE YOU! YOU MONSTER ! " I screamed and Elijah pulled me into his arms .
                          
" Is that anyway to talk to your father ? " he asked . 
                          
" You are NOT my father . You never were ! " I screamed . 
                          
" Shhh .... Lexa . " Elijah said , rocking me gently .
                          
Tears streamed down my face . 
                          
" Well I see this is a bad time .... I'll see you soon . Goodbye children . Oh and Alexandra , you might want to keep your friends close . " he said . 
                          
" I keep my enemys closer . " I said . 
                          
He waved and walked out the door . I broked down into tears , collapsing at Elijah's feet and then I passed out .
                          
* Damon's P.O.V *
                          
Elijah carried Alex up to her room and then Klaus motioned for me to join them in the living room.
                          
" Damon , have you ever heard the story of our family ? " he asked .
                          
I nodded . 
                          
" Have you heard Alexandra's ? " he asked .
                          
" No . She doesn't talk about her past . " I said .
                          
Rebekah nodded . 
                          
" Alexandra Nikolina Mikaelson is the oldest vampire ever recorded . Nobody really knows if Elijah or Alex was born first , a secret our mother took to her grave ,  but Alexandra is the first vampire. You see .... growing up ... Alexandra was our best friend . She always had a way of showing up when you needed her. She was perfect and one of the most beautiful women in our village . " Klaus said . 
                          
" Stunning .... obviously . " Elijah said appearing at the top of the stairs without his twin sister . 
                          
" How is she ? " Kol asked . 
                          
" Resting . " Elijah said , sitting down .
                          
" I was abused by my step father.... Mikael . But Alexandra stood up for me . She would even get physically hurt and it was all my fault . I'll never forgive myself for it . I knew that the physical pain was not nearly as bad as the emotional pain and hurt that she was feeling inside because I was feeling it too . She was always aiming to be perfect and she was and nothing was ever good enough for Mikael and it hurt her . " Klaus countined . 
                          
I was so involved in the story that I'd never been told . Why didn't she tell me ? The story of the first vampire ever created . The story of Alexandra Nikolina Mikaelson .
                          
" And then our brother .... Henrick . He died and when he did , so did a tiny piece of Alexandra . She loved him and treated him as if everything was alright with the world , even if it wasn't . He died in her arms . " Kol said , looking straight ahead at the wall .
                          
" On the night of our transformation ........ mother made us drink blood . Tatia's blood and then father took a dagger and plunged it through her heart in front of us . We were shocked and horrified as she fell to the ground, still concouise . She coughed up some blood and when Elijah ran to her side , he was stabbed next ... and then me and then Kol and then Finn and Rebekah . " Klaus said . 
                          
" She died in my arms . " Elijah said , looking down . 
                          
I could feel the pain in thier voices as they told me the story of thier sister  .
                          
" We turned into monsters ...we  started to kill for fun and Alexandra ...well .... she tried everyway she could think of to kill herself but it didn't work . She's been alone for over a millenium , Damon . Don't hurt her again . She wouldn't be able to take it . " Rebekah said .
                          
" If you do ... we'll hunt you down like blood hounds on a stake . " Kol said , crossing his arms .
                          
I gulped . Nice family . The Brady Bunch .
                          
" She never told me . " I whispered .
                          
" Because I didn't want you to know . " Alexandra said , standing at the top of the stairs in black . 
                          
She smiled crookedly . 
                          
" I'm okay . " she whispered , staring off somewhere distant .
