Ladybug's POV
"Wait, wait?!" Everyone said. (Including Hawkmoth and Le Paon.)
"Their love and friendship for one another..." Le Paon trailed off.
"...Prevented the Akumas from Akumatizing them! NOOO!!!" Hawkmoth shouted in anger.
Suddenly, I felt a rush of energy fill my body. I felt a lot more powerful. (Physically and emotionally.)
I could've swore I heard a familier squeaky, faint voice in my head whisper, "Go on Mari. Live your life. You're welcome~"
I jumped up off the ground. "Come on guys! Let's defeat that butterfly & that peacock!"
They jumped up as well with determination on their faces.
"Let's do this!" We all said.
And then we all started fighting Hawkmoth and Le Paon again.
10 years later...
It was another beautiful sunset out in the sea. It was a lovely crimson red, the color of my Ladybug costume to be exact. I chuckled.
"Oh, those were the days..."
10 years ago we defeated Hawkmoth and Le Paon. I don't exactly know how, but I'm thankful that we did or else I wouldn't be living the life I am now.
Chat Noir and I got married a few years ago and headed out to live out on the sea once again. So far, we've had a child named Emma, and she is absolutely lovely. She has her mom's hair and her dad's eyes...
But anyway, we're still Ladybug and Chat Noir. It's just that there's no villian to fight right now, so we only transform to hang out with each other at night.
As I looked back at the memories of 10 years ago, I felt arms snake around my waist.
"Hey, Bugaboo~" Chat purred.
I giggled. "Hey Kitty~"
He kissed me on the cheek. "Sometimes I wonder what'd I'd be if I never met you..."
"Hmmm... Probably a really sad and unlucky kitty," I teased.
He laughed. "You're probably right."
There was a moment of silence before he asked, "Wanna dance, M'lady?"
I laughed. "Silly Kitty... there's no music. Everyone's asleep, so no one can play an instrument."
"We don't need music. Plus, hearing your voice and your laughter is music to my ears," he winked.
I smiled warmly. He spun me around and put one hand on my waist and one on my shoulder. I did the same with him.
We then started to dance slowly, both of us swaying to the music that lie in our minds.
He leaned in and whispered in my ear, "You have no idea how much I love you, Marinette."
I pecked him on the lips. It was quick, yet loving.
"Kitty, you have no idea how much I love you."
There was a small yawn that interrupted us.
"Mommy? Daddy? I can't sleep," Emma said tiredly.
She was so cute when she was tired...
"Alright sweety, Mommy and Daddy will sing you a lullaby. Okay?"
"Okay..." she said as she rubbed her eyes.
Chat picked her up gently and lovingly.
"When the sea becomes unsteady, you better be ready, for the storm's early mourn.
As the waves grow higher, there starts a fire, caused by fear in your heart.
But do not fear, sweet child, for it is only mild, and I have a secret to share.
If you muster up your bravery, you will find victory much more flavory, than just letting yourself lose.
But now, it's time to dream your dreams, and let your imagination be like a diamond, and gleam..."
Emma was snoring softly now, so she was sleeping.
We both looked at our daughter. Oh, we loved her so much...
When we set her in bed and tucked her in, we walked back out on the main deck.
"Speaking of love, I wonder how I fell in love with you in the first place. You did kidnap me, after all," I said as I chuckled a bit.
Chat gently pulled me closer to him.
"Anything is possible, Marinette..."
And then we shared yet another loving, passionate kiss~
Which we'd never get tired of.
