Taking my hand, he lead me out of the Garden Cottage and into the hotel only to come back out through another door into a separate green house. It was humid and I could hear my hair frizzing but it was worth it. The sight was unbelievable.
Except for the walk paths, the place was surrounded by all kinds of trees, plants, bushes, and flowers. I could figure out the simple ones such as the apple and orange trees, berry bushes, grape vines, roses, daises, carnations, and so much more. But the one thing that got my attention was the tree that stood in the center of the whole garden.
I walked over to the Japanese cherry blossom tree. I pulled down the closest branch and gently felt the soft petals of the small flower.
"You like it?" I felt Aiden behind me. His arms wrapped our my mid section and pull me closer to him. His head bent down to kiss my bare shoulder and I felt the electricity jolt up from the touch.
"This is amazing. How do they keep the trees growing in here?" The green house must have been the size of half a football field but I didn't know how tall it was.
"The roof opens up and whenever a tree gets too big, they take it out from the roots and sell it."
I slowly let go of the branch and turn myself around in Aiden's arms. "It's so beautiful." I cooed at him, talking about the garden.
"I know you are." he whispered and I let out a little laugh at his once again, corny self. He backed me up until I felt the rough bark of the blossom tree behind me. Trapping me in between him and the tree, he leaned down and kissed me passionately. The soft kiss was so tender that it made me want to burst into tears. "I love you so much, Blair."
"And I love you just as much, Aiden."
We kept on kissing. The once sweet kiss began to turn into a heated one and I let out little whimpers of pleasure from him pressing himself more firmly on me.
Someone let out an awkward cough and we separated to see a man. His name tag said "Christopher". "I'm sorry, sir, madam, but we close the Garden at this time." he said to us.
I felt the blush rise to my cheeks. Aiden and I said our goodnight to him and hand in hand, walked back to our cottage.

"I'll take care of her." Aiden said on his phone. I knew from the loud shouts coming from the phone that the person on the other line was my brother. "No, of course I didn't mean it that way." he said and winked at me.
I grabbed the phone from him and put it against my ear just in time to hear Blake say: "God fucking dammit, Aiden!" I laughed. "B? Is that you?"
"Yes, B. It's almost midnight, will you go to bed already and stop worrying about me? I'm 21 years old, I can take care of myself."
After a few silent seconds, I heard Blake sigh. "Fine, both of you behave. I love you, B."
"I love you, too, B. Goodnight."
After hanging up the phone, I placed it on the bed side table and pulled my boyfriend down on the bed with me.
"Can we sleep naked?" I whispered to him.
"Anything for you, Blairbear."

The next morning, we had to quickly eat breakfast since we had to check out before noon. The prepared man that he is, Aiden had packed extra clothes in a back pack in his car. Of course, it only contained his clothes which meant that I had to leave the fancy and sophisticated Chateau Marmont in a pair of basketball shorts and a big Lakers shirt. At least I was wearing my cute brown wedges, that sadly didn't match my outfit.
We took a quick shower before getting dressed. Before we left the hotel, we stopped by the Garden to see the Japanese cherry blossom tree one more time.
I had taken off the heels and just walked around barefoot. It was better than getting odd looks from people.
Holding hands, we stopped at the center of the garden where the tree stood. I didn't see anyone else around us probably because most of the guests were at lunch.
Ever since we woke up, Aiden has seemed a little distant. I didn't comment since we woke up late and had to rush to check out.
We found a wooden bench on the path way behind the tree and sat down. Leaning back against his hard chest, his arms went around me but he still didn't say anything.
"Is there something wrong?" I asked him.
He didn't say anything for the longest time and I began to worry. Did I do or say something wrong? Did I not perform right last night? Is he bored already? Is this not good enough for him? All these questions ran through my mind, making me crazy.
Aiden must have sensed my discomfort because he cupped my face and gave me a peck on the lips. "It's not you, Blair, don't worry. You're perfect." I waited for him to go on but he kept on hesitating and he looked indecisive. "I really need to tell you something but I don't know how you'll react..."
Realization hit me. This was it. The secret that they've been keeping from me. Was it that bad? My heart began to race and I felt an anxiety attack ready to happen.
"Just tell me." I said. I was now facing him and he was holding both my hands in his. His eyes dropped in uncertainty.
Finally, he took in a deep breath and sighed. Looking me straight in the eye with a serious face, his next words were something I never ever expected.
"You're father's alive."
