Chapter 5 ~Arriving~

                                    

                                          
Serena's POV ( I know I've only done Ash's POV once, don't worry. I will write in his POV either next chapter or the one after that )
                          


                          
It was the next day, and I had already told May that I was going to Alola. She was super excited that I had decided yes on it. We said goodbye yesterday, and I told her I would be back next week. She was happy for me, and I was happy to have such a good friend like May.
                          
I had packed my bags last night, so now I was on my way to the airport. I ran there in excitement.
                          
Alola sounded so fun. Plus, I've never really been on vacation before. I didn't own a swimsuit, so I would buy one when I got there. And I would also buy some of those Poke Beans mentioned in the magazine I found at last minute, thank goodness.
                          
I ran faster, now with more excitement than before.
                          
On the plane...
                          
I looked out the window, fascinated. The water was so sparkly and blue. I smiled. Suddenly, I saw four islands amongst the beautiful water of the ocean. I looked down at the magazine from before that I'd kept for references. I remember there being a picture of Alola's islands.I gasped happily. 
                          
"We're here!" I said to myself.
                          
We soon landed on one of the islands called, "Melemele Island." I got off the plane as quick as I could, and admired the things around me.
                          
"Wow...," I said in awe. Everything was so beautiful, and the weather was absolutely amazing.
                          
I went to the hotel where I would stay this week, and along the way, I saw some Pokemon that I've never seen before. So fascinating! I thought.
                          
After everything is unpacked and settled...
                          
I went shopping for something different to wear here in Alola. I picked out a pink flower-print top with yellow shorts to match the yellow flowers decorated on the shirt. I chose white crew socks with light pink espadrilles. And to go with that, I picked out a trilby hat with some pink going around it and a light pink messenger bag. I also bought a bikini for swimming later.
                          
I tried everything on, and I really liked the style of clothing here. I might just have to buy some more clothes to take back to Hoenn~
                          
After I bought the things I wanted for myself, I got some things for my Pokemon. I ended up buying quite a few Poke Beans for Braixen, Pancham, and Sylveon to try. I also bought some food for them to eat later. As much as we all want to, we can't just eat sweets, even on vacation.
                          
I finally stopped spending money and went to take a little walk around. The wind blew in my hair as I did so, and it felt amazing. The sun was starting to set as well. I would have to get back to my hotel soon.
                          
I didn't want to leave this place. This was the time where I got to be lazy, and not have to worry about anything. Wait, no, I can't think like that. I only just got here, of course I don't want to leave. I'm sure I'll want to go home once the week has passed.
                          
But right now, I didn't want to leave. At all.

Finallyyyy I made this chapter DX Thank you for having patience, and I hope the wait was worth it! I can tell right now I won't be able to start my chapter a day streak again, because NaNoWriMo is starting next week yayyyyyy! :DD
