Serena's POV
When I got home, I flopped onto my bed, inhaled and exhaled, and closed my eyes. I wanted sleep. I didn't care that I still had my day clothes on. I took off my hat and relaxed onto my semi-comfortable mattress ( due to Serena staying in a hotel, if you all didn't know that ), and drifted into sleep...
The next morning...
I woke up, and I was in the same position I had been when I feel asleep. I rubbed my eyes and smiled. That may have been the best sleep I've ever had.
I sat up and looked in the mirror. I looked at my outfit; it was the same dress with the red waistcoat and blue ribbon at my chest. I smiled at that ribbon, and thought back to the day where Ash had given it to me as a thank-you gift.
I picked my hat up off the floor and put it on my head and washed up. I thought about vacation again. I double-checked my calendar to make sure I was right about not having a busy schedule. Yep, I'm free for the week.
I let out my Pokemon to get their opinions.
"Hey, guys. I've got something to ask you all," I said, looking at each of them. They all looked at me with questioning faces.
"Instead of training ahead of time during this week, how would you like to take a short vacation?"
"Brai, Braixen!"
"Pancham, Pan!"
"Syl, veon!"
They all jumped up and down. I giggled. "I assume that's a yes. Thanks you three," I said, and I put them back in their Pokeballs.
"That doesn't surprise me," I said aloud to myself, quietly. "So it's up to me, now..."
Well, my Pokemon want a vacation, and I'm not busy right now. Also, I think I'm doing pretty good on training, so...
Alright. It's decided. I'm going on vacation! But now the question is... where?
I decided to walk around the city, see if anything pops up.
I put on my black, knee-high socks and brown boots and went outside. I looked around at a few signs. Nothing.
I asked a few people walking by. Nothing.
I was about to just shop when I saw a magazine rack. I walked over and took a look at them: A magazine with May's face on it. A magazine with a famous chef and a list of recipes. So many more magazines. Come on, there has to be a--
Suddenly there was a magazine at the bottom of the rack that caught my eye. It said:
Poke Beans! Pokemon love them! Go to the sunny Alola region and pick some up for YOUR Pokemon, or buy them as gifts for other Pokemon ya know! Why not take a vacation there, too? Alola's tropical and warm weather is great for a nice, relaxing vacation! And the oceans are great for swimming, and catching new water Pokemon! Don't forget the great shops and food there, too! Go to Alola, and you and your Pokemon will have a blast!
Why, this sounds perfect! I grabbed the magazine and held on to my hat as I ran to my hotel.
Alola, here I come!
