I couldn't move I just stood there in the doorway looking at the horror before me. Blood was all over the wall as so the floor and lying there on the floor was the school's nurse. She stared at me with cold dead eyes as the blood was pouring out of her neck I didn't even realize that I was holding my breath. I looked away from the dead person to meet my eyes with Star. She looked as scared as I was as blood covered her shirt and was in her hair but most of all around her mouth as the blood dripped out. My lungs hurt the smell was terrible and I couldn't scream nothing would come out. She looked upset before she tried to speak words "Luna I " she started to say but I didn't let her continue as I ran out the room and down the hall. I ran outside and into the cold weather, I ran until I couldn't anymore and stopped in front of my home. My dad would be at work just like my mom as my siblings would be at school. I unlocked the door and ran to my room and locked the door behind me collapsing on the floor. I brought my knees to my face and stayed in a ball for what felt like an hour when I decided to call Lariyah my best friend I grabbed my phone and typed her number and brought the phone to my ear. It rang for a minute when I heard her voice pick up" hey Luna what's up?" I let out a small whimper " oh my god are you ok!" She asked sounding more alarmed than ever " ya just can you come over?" My voice coming out as barely a whisper " yes I'll be there soon I'm heading out now" she hung up the phone as I brought my knees back to my face and sobbed. I don't know what happened I didn't even let her explain I just knew it wasn't anything good shortly after I heard a knock on my door " hey it's me can you open the door?" I got up and wiped the tears from my face as I unlocked the door and let her walk in. Lariyah has long hair that's Braided and was a dark brown colour she had on some shirt and shorts, she pulled me into a hug and let me cry into her shoulder but I was nothing compared to how Star held me and telling me it would be ok. We stayed like that for a while before she broke the silence " so are you gonna tell me what's wrong?" Even if I wanted to I couldn't there was no way " I really don't want to talk about it" I tried to say but came out in whimpers. Lariyah was nice and sweet and also stood her ground and didn't let anybody tell her who she should be she's amazing and is there but Star was different and I remember the look on her face before I ran. I talked to Lariyah for a while about random stuff before she looked at me and asked: " does it have to do with Star?" I couldn't help but feel my cheeks go red but that image also was there too "no" but she wasn't believing me in any way the slightest " I know you L and I know something's wrong" I thought hard for a moment before  responding back to her " it's not what you think ok" I tried to find words after that but couldn't. There was no way I could tell her about what I saw she wouldn't believe me in the first place. "Hey wanna watch a movie I can order pizza" Lariyah looked at me trying to smile to calm me down but I didn't work "ya that sounds good" she got up and left my room. I followed her out into the living room and watched her jump onto the couch and grabbed a movie. I sat down beside her and looked at the movie she grabbed it was Twilight personally I hated it and Lariyah noticed that "I know you hate the movie but it's all I can think of the moment so your gonna have to suffer ok" but I couldn't respond back as she has already put the disk in the DVD player. The movie finally finished around 3 when my father walked in looking worried "Luna oh thank god" he said, "dad whats wrong?" my mom walked in shortly after him looking at me looking very mad. "The nurse at your school was killed today they said it was massive blood loss as if she was drained," my dad said I felt sick to my stomach "that's terrible," lariyah said I need to say something but my mom beat me too it "Luna the teacher said that you didn't come to class as someone caught you running down the hall and out of the building" she stopped to breathe for a sec before quickly continuing "the body was found shortly after" I looked down at the ground not knowing what to say.My dad picked up his phone and dialled a number before bringing it up to his ear "hello ya she's home, ok bye" he looked at me after putting his phone back into his pocket as I felt my heart sink into my chest as he spoke "the police are on their way over now"
