I woke up Saturday with a huge smile on my face. The dance was awesome, I had so much fun. I lay in my bed a few minutes just running the memories of the night before through my head. It was a great night.

I stretched while still laying on my bed. I really didn't want to move, but I knew I would have to get up soon for my date with Lincoln. It is still hard to wrap my head around the fact that Lincoln likes me and wants me to be his girlfriend. Me! Reaching over, I picked up my phone to check the time, to see that I had a Text Message from Peter. I opened it immediately.

Giant Weasley: Kitten, how was the dance?

Me: How did you know I went?

Giant Weasley: Lincoln wouldn't let you NOT f*cking go.

Me: Are you going to Fangirl over Lincoln and I if I tell you?

Giant Weasley: I don't f*cking Fangirl, kitten.

Me: Actually you do.

Giant Weasley:.......

Me: It was a great night. I danced all night and slow danced with Lincoln a few times.

Giant Weasley: Did the F*cker try to grope you?

Me: Really, Giant Weasley.

Giant Weasley: What, just trying to figure out how Ballsy he is.

Me: No, you dillhole, he didn't try to grope me. How is Alberta?

Giant Weasley: Flat.

Me: I did hear it was like that.

Giant Weasley: When is the big date?

Me: He is coming to pick me up at 10.

Giant Weasley: Why so f*cking early?

Me: He has to work at 6. He switched shifts so he can take me to the dance.

Giant Weasley: Smooth mother f*cker. Go get ready and text me tonight. I get bored.

Me: Go make a friend.

Giant Weasley: I did, and I want her to text me after her date.

Me: Fine, text you later Giant Weasley.

Giant Weasley: Have fun Kitten.

Putting down my phone, I climbed out of bed. I wasn't worried about rushing, because I still had an hour. Crossing the hall, I could hear my dad in the kitchen. I went into the bathroom and did my business before jumping in the shower. I didn't linger and soon I was dressed in a warm sweater and heavy jeans. I had to blow dry my hair because I didn't have enough time to just let it dry naturally. Finishing with a bit of mascara and lipgloss I was ready for my outdoors date with Lincoln and with 15 minutes to spare.

I walked to the kitchen and gave dad a side hug. He turned and gave me a kiss on the top of my head.

"Good morning sweetheart. You hungry?" He asked smiling.

"A little bit. More nervous than anything else."

"Sit down and I'll get you a plate." He said pointing to the table with the spatula he is using to flip the pancakes with.

Turning around I made my way to the table and sat down. Dad set a plate in front of me and another one across from me. We sat in silence for a few minutes while we ate.
