Jonah-Cheater??

                                    

                                          
Jonah and you have been dating for 3 years now. Everything has been going great, except this past month. 
                          
Jonah has been on his phone a lot lately. Before he would just smile down at his phone and turn it off anytime you asked him about it. But now it's gotten to the point where he will walk out of the room to look at his phone. You're afraid he's cheating on you. 
                          
You were upstairs on his bed and Jonah was in the shower. He left his phone on the nightstand and you look at it curiously. You decide to need to respect his privacy. You turn and continue reading your book until he gets a text. 
                          
You look over at the phone. The water is still running so you look at it. 
                          
Megan 💍~ Are we still meeting up tomorrow night??
                          
Wait.....Is he actually cheating?? Your heart broke and you look up to see Jonah standing in sweats.
                          
"Y/n??" you get up and can feel tears starting to form. "How could you!!!" he looks at you confused. "What are you talking about??" he steps closer and you shove his phone into his chest. "I thought you loved me!! Because I sure as hell love you...But now I guess I wasn't good enough for you" you go to walk away but he grabs your wrist. 
                          
"What are you talking about?? Of course, I love you" you turn and have tears rolling down your cheek. "Then how come you cheated on me?!!" he tilts his head in confusion and his phone rings. "Oh look there's your little booty call now" he looks at me frustrated. "You read my texts?!" you roll your eyes. 
                          
"Look if you wanted to end it you could have just said so instead of leading me on" he clenches his jaw and you take a deep breath. "I was afraid you were cheating on me and I guess I was right" He throws his phone on the bed and faces you. 
                          
"I wasn't cheating on you Y/n!! I was going to propose to you Friday night!! This past month I have been trying to get the perfect ring!! But now I don't know what to think anymore..." he sits on the bed and you're speechless. 
                          
You want to comfort him but you can't move. You both are silent for a few minutes until you finally get enough courage to move. You sit beside him and he looks up at you. "Jonah I-" You pause and he holds your hand. 
                          
"I know...I'm sorry I yelled baby" you lean your head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry I thought you would cheat...I guess I was just stupid and jump to conclusions" He kisses the side of your head and wraps his arms around you to pull you closer.
                          
"I love you always remember that" You smile and he kisses you softly. "I love you too Marais"
