We got inside the Performing Arts Center early and we got ready.
                          
I started putting on my makeup. Then I did Kenzie's hair and makeup.
                          
We both got dressed and then I put on my wig and secure it good. Then I put on my robe over my costume.
                          
About 2 hours later, it was our time to perform.
                          
We went on the stage, which was set up for our number, and we got in place. We heard all the people talking. We could tell there was a lot.
                          
We had our props and the curtains opened. I went and did my part, then Kenzie.
                          
We got close to the song. When we did, we paused in our places and the "narrator" came out and began the song.
                          
"Ladies and gentleman... Ms. Velma Kelly in an act of despiration..."
                          
He walked back off the stage and I started singing.
                          
"My sister and I had an act that couldn't flop... My sister and I were headed straight for the top... My sister and I earned a thou a week at least. Oh yeah... But my sister is now unfortunaatleeeyyy deceased... I know it's sad of course but a fact.. Is still a fact... And now all that remains is the remains. Of a perfect... Double... Act!"
                          
"Watch this!" I spoke. "Now you have to imagine it with 2 people! It's swell with 2 people!.... First I'd." Then after I danced a bit. "... Then she'd..." I danced again. "... Then we'd." I danced one more time. "But I can't do it alone." 
                          
Then I did another dancing part then went back to singing.
                          
"But I can't do it alone! She'd saay 'What's your sister like?' I'd say 'Men' Ahaha! She'd saaay 'You're the cat's meow' then we'd wrild the crowd again. When shee'd gooo..."
                          
I danced again in the next few parts. Then went back to singing. 
                          
"Then those ding-dong daddies started to rooooar. Whistled, stomped, slammed on the floor, yelling, screamin', beggin' for mooore and we'd say 'Okay fellas. Keep your socks up! Cuz you ain't seen nothing yet!' "
                          
At this point I was dancing on the table that was there.
                          
"But I siimply cannot do it aaaloooone!" I spoke the next part. "So... What do you think huh?... C'mon you can say..." Kenzie's part was to look at me and do a long raspberry. 
                          
I continued speaking. "You're right... First part's trash!.... But the second part. The second part is reeeaaally nifty!" As I said that, I grabbed a chair and positioned it in front of me. "Okay. She'd goo..." Then for this next part I danced using the chair.
                          
And then I continued singing the end of the song. As I was walking up on the prop that they built just for this number. 
                          
"And then those two-bit Johnnies did it a brown. To cheer the best attraction in toown they nearly tore the balconyy dooown and we'd say 'Okay boys! We're goin' home. But before we do, here's a few more partin' shots! And this! This we did in perfect unison!" 
                          
I danced again. And then sang one more time. "Now you see me going through it. You may think theeere's nothing to it! But I simply cannot doo iiiiit...." Then the last note I slid down the pole and ran to the table where Kenzie was at.
                          
"Aaaloooooooooooooooonne!" And I slid on the table to end up in front of Kenzie. 
                          
The number ended and the crowd went wild. I smiled and me and Kenzie got up and held hands together to bow.
                          
The drama teacher came out.
                          
"Wow! Amazing yet again!"
                          
He brought up the other finalists. We all held hands and bowed.
                          
"All of your performances were amazing. Great job everyone!" The crowd started going wild.
                          
We all smiled. As I was smiling, I looked in the crowd and saw Ilan. He was smiling and cheering. I just smiled at him. And I looked back to the drama teacher.
                          
"We'll take a little break then we'll announce our 1st, 2nd & 3rd winners." 
                          
The curtains closed and me and Kenzie waited in the back. After our 15 minute break, we went back on stage with the teacher.
                          
"Okay everyone. I know you've been eagerly waiting.... Here's the envelope!" 
                          
He picked up the envelope and opened it.
                          
"Our 3rd prize winners are..."
                          
Me and Kenzie were grasping onto each other.
                          
"... Jim and Jon!" 
                          
We let our breathe go in relief and we clapped for Jim and Jon.
                          
"Now.... The moment you've all been waiting for..."
                          
I was biting my lip so hard and I wasn't able to feel my arm cuz Kenzie was holding onto it so tight.
                          
He pulls out the final envelope.
                          
"Our first prize is..."
