Pete brought out a pistol from his side and aimed it at me. Probably at my head that's the best way to kill someone fast and easy. "No David we can't." 
                          
I turned my head upwards to see the gun. Wow really? Come on. "Pete don't." Wash said sounding like he was going to panic. 
                          
"Sorry David but we need to be even." Pete's finger tensed on the trigger and he looked down at me frowning. 
                          
I closed my eyes hearing couple of shots. I bite my lip hearing thumping. I opened my eyes to see Pete's hand near me. "Ana you alright?" Wash asked on the other side of me. 
                          
"Mhm," I whispered putting my hand on the side of his helmet. "Just hurt," I giggled. "I will be fine. I think. I mean we have Alex." 
                          
He put his hand on mine than chuckled. "Yay for us."
                          
I smiled than frowned looking at Pete's dead body. "Now what?" 
                          
"I don....." 
                          
"Hey Wash Arizona we found where CT is hiding. Come to our position now!" Carolina said over the comm channel. 
                          
Wash looked down at me. "Well lets get going sweet heart." 
                          
I giggled. "Ew."

INSURRECTION BASE 40 MILES
                          
"Connie we have a problem."one of the Insurrection marines said. 
                          
"Don't tell me." Connie said looking at the table. 
                          
There wasn't an answer for bit which made Connie turn to him. "Pete is dead. We don't know about Daniel, Harold, and Ray."
                          
She sighed turning around pinching the bridge of her nose. She looked up at the Ken and Victor. "Great what else can go wrong." She said looking at the table again. 
                          
Everything was going great! Insurrection finally putting all the pieces together! Until the damn party than everything started to fall apart. Connie looked out the window watching a bird pass by and than the sunset. 
                          
She knows that one of the morons told the Freelancers where she would be at and that her guards are here too. Since she is the leader now she going have to act like one. Think of her team, her company, herself even. 
                          
What would Jarod do? Connie couldn't decide what she was going to do. She kept thinking what would Jarod do? Would he leave or would he stay and fight?
                          
"What are we going to do boss?" Ken said looking at his arm than at her waiting for her response. 
                          
She was silent unable to say or even answer that question. She looked over at her helmet that was at the other end of the table. She got up and walked to it, grabbing it, and looking at it. 
                          
Her armour is now the last piece Project Freelancer's property. She looked out the window than putting her helmet on. "We leave." She said watching as the sun went behind the mountains. 
                          
"Now?" Victor asked. 
                          
Connie second thought this, thinking what would happen if they don't leave and just stayed and fight. Everyone in this room even in this building will die if they don't leave. If they do no one would get hurt, maybe the marines that she will leave behind as a trick, but not the people she knew longer like Ken and Victor. 
                          
Connie turned her head till her shoulder. "Yes Victor. They know where we are might as well beat them before they get here." 
                          
Victor seemed shocked. "What? Why can't we fight? They killed Jarod and Serria!" 
                          
"Fine you stay with a squad and act like I am still here. I don't care but I do care about everyone's safety." She said calmly. 
                          
She won't get mad at him, he has all the right to be upset at this. His friends were killed during battle the battle with people we really hate. Connie doesn't mean that she just wishes that they would understand that they aren't the good guys. That Director is just using them. Once Connie finds out about what Director is doing she will kill them and end this stupid war.

CRASH SITE 40 C
                          
"Thank you for telling us where your wonderful new leader is." Texas said to Colorado.
                          
I was sitting on the ground with my armour stained by blood. Luckily Wash made it back here for Alex to heal me....again. 
                          
Wash was sitting next to me. "As for you two," I looked up to see Carolina having her hands on her hips. "What's your story?" 
                          
I glanced at Wash. "Well um," I mumbled. "We are together as like boyfriend and girlfriend and well heh I thought you would figure it out." I said looking up at her. 
                          
Alex chuckled. "Come on I knew. It wasn't hard to tell." 
                          
Carolina shot her head towards him than slowly back at us. "Well no I am not upset. Yes we will not be telling Director. It's against protocol and I am surprise that you of all people Wash that you didn't go against it." 
                          
Wash shrugged his shoulders. "Meh I don't care about that rule. Hopefully you understand boss." 
                          
"She does of course!" York said jumping looking straight at Carolina. 
                          
She looked over at him and shook her head. "Why does she know?" Texas asked looking at York. 
                          
"Ah nothing." York said very fast. 
                          
Delta appeared next to his shoulder. "They had sexual..." 
                          
"That's enough D thanks!" York yelled. 
                          
"No problem York." Than he disappeared. 
                          
Penn chuckled. "Wow never noticed there was a love circle going on." He looked over at Colorado. Colorado just shrugged. 
                          
Muscle Man grunted and looked away from everyone. "Shut up," Texas said folding her arms and looking at Penn. "No one wants to here your smartass comments." 
                          
"Psh you know I used be the joker one in the group. You love them." I could tell he winked underneath his helmet from the tone of his voice. 
                          
Colorado chuckled again. "Well what are you guys going to do to us?" 
                          
Carolina spoke first. "Well we were told to kill you," she paused than turned to face them. "But I want to know why." 
                          
"I have already..." Penn started to say. 
                          
"No no no no don't start with the sob story. Tell the reason." Carolina said. 
                          
Penn made a long sigh. "Fine you know how we sent Arizona and Hawaii to go to the class room?" 
                          
"Last year? Yes I do remember that." Carolina said nodding her head. 
                          
"Well the microchip that I've found was much more classified. Which was great you see he doing far worse things than you think," Wash started to get up. "He is pretty much planning a whole new war between the Insurrectionist. So once we found out about Connie well I asked them to help end it. Well it was working out until now but other than that." Penn shrugged. 
                          
No one talked for a bit. "Four Seven Niner pick up this garbage and send them back to base." Carolina reported. 
                          
"Whose going to watch them?" she asked over the comm channel.
                          
Carolina sighed than turned to Alex, Nebraska, and Maine. "Would you go?" 
                          
Alex's slumped his shoulders. "Ugh fiiiine." he whine walking to Muscle Man. 
                          
"The rest of us will wait for a warthog and go to the position." Carolina explained she turned to Texas. "And end this."
