Twenty Eight

                                    

                                          
Abby has decided that I will be the only one that gets to have the individual carpet walk. The moms aren't happy about this but Abby doesn't leave any time for the mothers to fight about it.  
                          
I get ready to walk outside onto the carpet. "You look gorgeous. Your dress is just perfect for you!" Abby smiles escorting me to the carpet.
                          
"Thank you." I smile, "You look gorgeous as well." I compliment Abby.
                          
Abby laughs a bit, "Whatever you say kid. I'll meet you half way down the carpet with everyone else. Love you see you in a bit." Abby basically pushes me out the VIP door and onto the carpet all by myself.
                          
Press is lined up across the expanse of the divider and hot Australian celebs are posing on the carpet. First I have the modeling part of the press at the beginning of the carpet. Then the the interview press further down.
                          
I pose getting blinded by camera flashes and getting yelled at to look certain ways and pose how the photographers want. It's quite intimidating but I handle it well.
                          
The girls and Abby emerge onto the carpet half way just like Abby said and we take a couple group photos as Aiden and the mothers watch from the interview section. After the group shots Abby makes sure to get a couple with just me and her before we fully move on down the carpet.
                          
"Hello! I'm Katie Rose and you're watching Just Me Tv!" I smile into the Just Me Tv camera.
                          
"Katie I'd just like to say you are so pretty, I absolutely love your dress!" The interviewer compliments.
                          
"Awe thank you. I saw it back in LA and I just fell head over heels in love with it."
                          
"Well I can see why! So I've heard that you're currently on tour right now?"
                          
"Yes! I'm on this Lifetime show called Dance Moms, our crew and I am here for our Ultimate Australian Tour round two!"
                          
"Oh lovely! Is it your first time here in Australia?"
                          
I nod my head, "Yes it's is my first time here in Australia and its very pretty here, I like it a lot."
                          
"You should come here more often!" The interviewer jokes.
                          
"I mean I'd love to but my schedule is pretty jam packed right now." I laugh.
                          
"So I've heard! I saw you did a shoot with Vogue, appeared on Ellen with the boys of Five Seconds of Summer, I mean what haven't you done?" The interviewer laughs.
                          
I smile, "Well with being a teen I'm still just a kid and while I'm very blessed with all these opportunities. I make sure to keep myself grounded and not get lost in the whirl wind that is my life." 
                          
"So humble at such a young age." The interview remarks. 
                          
I do a couple of interviews, some by myself, some with the other girls, and some with Abby. While I'm waiting for interviews to start I've been messing with Aiden the whole time. It's quite entertaining. Earlier I called his phone pretending to be the FBI. In my other spare time I get to meet some pretty cool celebrities and I even get to have a one on one chat with Sia. She was really nice and funny.
                          
"Sorry no more interviews." Abby says as we finish and head into the great auditorium. Aiden and I hold hands waiting for everyone as we head inside. The process is long because they have to check each and every person. Though I do understand the safety measures. Finally when we get inside, our mothers are to go to their seats with Aiden and Gia while Abby goes with us girl back to our dressing room where we change into our dance costumes.
