💟???'s P.O.V💟
As my friend and I make our way into Phoenix Drop for the first time since we moved to Paris, we feel a wave of nostalgia as old memories from high school come back to us.
As were walking towards the new house we're renting because of only just moving back here, I notice a flier about a maid cafe not to far from where we're going to be staying.
"Teony, come look at this flier! The cafe isn't too far from the place we're renting." I exclaim as I show her the flier.
'Come to the Kawaii~Treat Maid~Sweet Cafe!'
Is written across the top of the flier which has a cute looking theme to it. Pinks, purples and white seem to be the apparent colour scheme.
"Great find Ivy! We'll head there later today once we've unpacked some of our things."
(If you couldn't tell already, this is Ivy's P.O.V)
A few hours later, Teony and I head to the cafe we saw the advertisement for earlier.
When we arrive, we can instantly smell the sweet aroma of sweets and other baked goods radiating from inside the cafe.
I open the door and when we get inside the first thing we notice is how cute the place looks. Whoever owns this cafe sure did a great job at decorating it.
"Teony?! Ivy?!" I hear a voice say in disbelief. "Is that you?"
We turn towards the voice and see none other than our friend Aphmau. We haven't seen her since Love~Love Paradise so this is a nice surprise.
"Aphmau, what are you doing here? It's so great to see you though!" Teony exclaims as Aphmau walks over to us.
"This is actually my maid cafe. Kawaii~Chan's too actually." She explains. "Would you like a seat?" She continues and we nod in response.
Aphmau then leads us to a table not too far away from the kitchen and the smell of sweets, cake, drinks and other things is making me even more hungry than I was before.
After we're seated Aphmau tells us that she needs to get back to the kitchen to check that there's enough food for all of today's customers but not before handing us a menu each.
About a minute later, one of the waiters comes up to our table ready to ask for our orders.
"Hello, my name is Gene and I'll be your waiter today. What would you like to order?" The waiter tells us.
Wait a second, the mixture of that name with the subtle accent. No it couldn't be.
"Gene? As in Gene from high school?" I question and he looks at me and nods. "It's me, Ivy! This is Teony, she also went to high school with us." I continue and he looks slightly shocked.
"Wow. I never thought I run into you again." He responds. "But seriously though, what's your order?" He asks.
"We'll each take a slice of strawberry cheesecake." Teony replies and Gene writes down our order before giving us a smile.
"Your order will be ready soon." He states and wonders off to the kitchen, most likely to give the order to Kawaii~Chan who I would assume is baking sweets like she loves to.
"He's sure changed a lot, hasn't he?" Teony inquires and I nod my head in response.
"Definitely different to how he was in high school." I state.
After our order comes and after we've payed the bill, which was only $4 each as we only had one slice each, were about to head out when Aphmau stops us.
"You two should come round to my house in a few days, we need to catch up! Here's my address and I'm pretty sure you still have my number." Aphmau invites and hands us a slip of paper with her address written on it.
What will Ivy, Teony and Aphmau discuss at Aphmau's house?
How is Aphmau going to tell her friends her big news?
And what's going to happen to Ivy and Teony in the future?
