Chapter 7- The 'Moment'

                                    

                                          

Alissa's P.O.V
                          
I gazed into Ethan's eyes. He looked different for some reason, he looked cuter, and his eyes brighter. We waited for a while just staring at each other. Was he going to kiss me? Was he not? Did I even want him to kiss me? "Ethan?" I whispered
"You amazing" he blurted out. Ethan dropped me then ran back to the beach and left me standing there like an idiot.
"He's so stupid," I whispered to myself. 
I walked back to the beach to see Jake. "Ethan's a real idiot," I sighed 
"What makes you say that?" Logan asked
"It's complicated, but let's just say... he's not the most romantic of guys," 
"Oohh, romance!"
"Urgh, no it's not like that, well it kind of is but... Urgh I don't know anymore!" I exclaimed throwing my hands in the air.
Jake laughed "I think Ethan's just kinda scared to do anything because he doesn't know if you feel the same way" he explained
"When did you start making sense?" I laughed. Jake laughed then shrugged, 
"Beat you to the water" Jake smiled
"NO Jake, Ethan's there and I don't want to talk to him" I pouted
"Then don't just come have fun" Jake encouraged. I rolled me eyes then sprinted towards the water with Jake chasing after me.
"I WIN!" I yelled as the cold water lapped over my toes. Jake picked me up then walked into the water more.
"Jakey no! It's cold, JAAKKEE!" I yelled half laughing "JAAKKEE, put me down"
"Okay" he smiled
"No!" I screeched but it was too late Jake was already dropping me in the water.
Jake, Logan and Ethan all laughed
"I hate you" I laughed
"You love me" Ethan said out of the blue, "I mean... umm" I stood up and walked to Ethan
"Do you love me?" I asked fiddling with my fingers under the water
"I...urgh...I don't know" he mumbled
"Then we feel the same way" I concluded. 
                          
Ethan's P.O.V
                          
"I hate you" Alissa laughed. She looked so happy, I don't I've ever seen her this happy before. I smiled then said the first thing that popped into my head.
"You love me" IDIOT! Who says that? I say that, I Ethan Wacker say the most god dammed stupid things ever! Stupid Ethan. "I mean...urgh" I tried to think of an excuse but nothing came into my head. Alissa stood up and walked to me, I gulped and started to fiddle with my fingers, I saw Alissa do the same. Why was she nervous? I took a deep breath and waited for her to say something.
"Do you love me?" She asked in the most angelic tone possible. "Yes" I told myself but I ddin't say that out loud. I loved Alissa to Saturn and back, she was the one. 
"I...Urgh...I don't know" I lied 
"Then we feel the same way," she said. What's that supposed to mean? She doesn't know if she loves me or not? How can you be 'unsure' if you love someone? Girls are confusing.
                          
We all got out of the water, dried off and drove to the mall for Amy, and Alissa to get a pair of shorts. It was really boring but atleast I got to spend more time with Alissa even if things were awkward between us.
                          
Alissa's P.O.V
                          
I didn't lie to Ethan, I dont know if I like him or not. There are times where I'm with him and I want it to never end and other times when he's so weird around me and awkward, I don't understand why he's like that around me. I tried to keep my mind off of Ethan but it's hard when he's only a few metres away.
                          
I found a couple outfits that were super cute. I would have got more but I'd already spent ages looking for those so I didn't really have any more time.
