I blink awake, and I squint as my vision is filled with a blinding white light. The brightness hurts my eyes, and I close them again, finding little relief in their darkness. Probably because of my pounding headache. Or because of how fatigued I still feel. Or because of my extreme thirst. Or maybe because of all three.

I take some time to adjust to the shock of the sudden brightness, and dizziness, and pounding in my skull. What even happened last night? I can't remember a thing. My eyes have finally begun to adjust, and I look around gingerly, not recognizing my surroundings. This place definitely doesn't look like anywhere in our house, or anywhere in Snowdin, or even anywhere in the RGH. (Which is the abbreviation for the Royal Guard Headquarters, in case you didn't catch on.) I do know that there is a room underneath our house, and there is a possibility I could be down there, but I'm still not entirely sure. I haven't been down there in forever, but last I remember it wasn't nearly this bright.

I attempt to take a step forward, but instead I am pulled back by something attached to my wrists. It takes me a moment to register, until I realize that I am chained to the wall. There is a clamp around each of my wrists that are connected to two chains, each of them holding my arms in place above my head. I try to pull free, but the chains are secure against the wall. So, let's refresh: my hands are tied up and I can barely move, I can't remember where I am or how I got here, and on top of all that, my headache is excruciating and I feel like passing out again. Great.

Suddenly, I remember my arms. I look up immediately, relieved to see that my jacket sleeves are still covering all of my scratches. I grab the ends of my jacket sleeves with my hands to hold them up anyway, just in case there is a camera or something in here watching me. My eyes dart around the room one last time, capturing nothing of interest. In fact, this room is completely unfurnished, with not a secret to unveil aside from its location.

Just then, the metal door bursts open, and Papyrus strolls in, carrying nothing other than a pair of handcuffs, some rope, and a box of something that I can't quite see from back here. His eyes drift up to me, and he places the items down, strolling up to me.

He smirks. "I see you are awake," he says, still grinning. Somehow, I have a bad feeling about this.

Immediately I feel the need to ask him all of my questions. "B-Boss! W-where are we? How did I get here? What even happened at all last night? How long was I sleeping for? Can you get me out of here? Can I-"

"Shh," he says, silencing me. "Now, now. There is no need for asking so many questions all at once, you know." He smirks again, wider this time. This isn't like him at all. What is going on?

"W-where are we?" I ask, gulping down my suspicion. I'm sure that if he did bring me down here, he did it for good reason, right? There must be a reason he's doing all of this, right?!

He glides forward slowly, taking hold of the clamps keeping my hands in place and detaching me from the wall. I breathe a sigh of relief, trying to sink down to the floor. He holds me in place, not letting me.

"That's not important right now," he continues, taking my wrist and immediately replacing the clamps with the pair of handcuffs he brought in with him. "I promise, all shall go only as necessary for now."

"What happened?" I ask, allowing myself to be moved and manipulated as he pleases, not wanting to get into any more trouble than I probably already have.
