"Hello." He said, trying to study my face through the phone, "You better treat my sister like a queen, cause my family is royalty you heard me? "
                          
"It's all good, I think I've realised that." I smiled. 
                          
"Hmmm so what you studying? I need to know if my sister has a future with you."He asked me.
                          
We had a nice conversation, I felt like I was a part of their family as we laughed.
                          
"Wait aren't you at a party, we've been talking for almost an hour." Charlotte reminded him.
                          
"Oh yeah I almost forgot."Cameron laughed.
                          
"Go give the ladies what they want!" I encouraged him.
                          
"You already know it bro!" He chuckled, "I'll see y'all tomorrow, I love you CharaMaria." 
                          
"Don't call me that!" Charlotte whined. 
                          
"That's a nice nickname, I think I might call her that too." I said sarcastically. 

                          
"You see even your bae likes it." He played along.
                          
"Just go away, Bye." She ended the facetime call.

Charlotte and  I rushed out of the car. I slowly stepped out breathing in the New York air."Mom!" Charlotte screamed rushing towards her mother. I watched in awe as they hugged each other like they hadn't seen each other in years. Suddenly tears formed in Mrs Bolton's eyes.
                          
  "I'm sorry, I've missed you so so much." She wiped underneath her eyes elegantly with one finger. "Henry! Come on don't just stand there. Come give you mother in law a hug!" Charlotte's mom laughed off her tears. She then invited me into the warm group hug. I managed to snake my arms around Char's waist. We then entered Charlotte's home. Her house looked beautiful. Way fancier than mine. As soon as we stepped in the smell of Mac and Cheese. Beautiful. The scent was beautiful. Charlotte and her mum then led me to their dining room. It had a plasma television and a gleaming chandelier above it. Charlotte seems well off.  


                          
"You're house is beautiful, Mrs Bolton." I complimented her.
                          
"Yes it takes a lot of case winning to get to this level." She smirked.I guess Charlotte is just like her mom. Taking the Law route. 
                          
"She is the reason I love law, but I'm taking the criminal route, while she fights more for rights in a divorce or money and business problems. " Charlotte explained. I nodded in response. I pulled out both their chairs and smiled as they thanked me simultaneously. 
                          
"I'll just have the maid bring in the food I prepared." Mrs Bolton clapped her hands together.
                          
"Maid??" I raised a brow.
                          
"Yeah a "gift" from my dad. He spoils us thinking we care." Charlotte rolled her eyes.
                          
"What does your dad do? Like what does he work as?" I asked, curiousity floating around my mind.
                          
"I don't know. He could be one of the top drug dealers for all I care"Charlotte shrugged. Her mom gave her cautious eyes. It left me wondering. 
                          
"Danielle!!" Mrs Bolton shouted. 
                          
"Yes I'm coming," I young lady appeared out of no where. Her eyes glossy white and her clothes in a mess. 
                          
"What were you doing in there? you didn't make the food so I don't know why you look like trash. Go change and you can leave." Mrs Bolton rolled her eyes. The maid, Danielle, lay out our food and cutlary. All of a sudden a man walked through the door, "Sorry I'm late." He flashed his sparkling white teeth at all of us. "Hey Dani." He winked at her. 
                          
"H-hey C-c-cameron." She froze, her cheeks turning into a dark shade of red. She quickly rushed out. Cameron chuckled. I stood up and shook his hand. "Hey bro!" He nodded at me. I nodded back in acknowledgement. 
                          
"Hey Cammy." Charlotte jumped into his arms. 
                          
"Awww sissy. You look beautiful. He must be doing something to you?" He raised an eyebrow at me suggestively. I laughed as I shook my head. "Give me a twirl!" He then cheered for  her and clapped his hands together as she cheered her on. 
                          
"Well Hi Maddock." Mrs Bolton shook her head.
                          
"Mom, it's Cameron and you know it." He rolled his eyes fist bumping his mom's fist that she had out waiting.
                          
"It means Champion and that's what you are right?"She laughed.
                          
"I'm 21 mom, not 10." He shook his head. 
                          
"Yeah when are you gonna bring home a girl for me. I want grandchildren!" She whined.
                          
We all laughed.
                          
"You too Henry and Charlotte." She added. 
                          
I looked at Charlotte and smirked while she shook her head in embarresment. 
                          
The meal was amazing and we spoke about everything, I felt like I was part of them. It made me feel at home. I felt love. Love that I didn't get when my family was together. I didn't know how long I was craving this for but I feel satisfied. 
                          
"Party planning time!" Cameron called out as we cleared our plates and placed them in the dishwasher. I was the last to put my plate in so I stood there staring at the buttons trying to figure them out. I heard a small giggle behind me. Charlotte knelt next to me. She then picked up my hand and helped me press the buttons that were needed to get the dishwasher started. I sighed playfully falling into Charlotte. She groaned as she tried to carry both our weights. I laughed as she struggled. "Henry you're heavy." She whined. I stood up and helped her up to. "You need to hit the gym and build up your muscles you know?" I looked down at her. She rolled her eyes and tip toed, wrapping her arms around me. I pecked her lips but she brought me back towards her. Her lips pressed firmly against mine.
                          
I love you, I thought. 
                          
"Come on lovebirds!" Cameron scoffed. 
                          
"Go away!" Charlotte screamed. I laughed as she argued with her brother. "He likes to annoy me." 
                          
"Well it's you're birthday we are planning." He shook his head. Me and Charlotte walked out hand in hand.  As the party discussion began. We agreed that it was gonna be massive like a big party with her friends though. Her mom is going to see if she can get a celebrity over. One she worked a case with. Preferably a black male. Preferably Keith Powers. Her mom and her find him attractive so why not invite him. 
                          
This party should be interesting.
