Where is he? Jazz was panicking. It had been 3 DAYS since Danny had gone missing. According to her parents, Danny had been given a chance to go to Gotham for a few days. When she had noticed the letter, she noticed it was written by a man named Bruce Wayne. After a bit of googling, she learned Bruce Wayne was a rich bachelor who lived in Gotham city. Nothing she found directly tagged him, but Jazz had a sneaking suspicion that this was somehow related to Vlad.
I mean, what if this was one of Vlad's rich friends giving a cover story for Danny so that he could do something huge? She had to talk to Sam and Tucker. The letter had specifically said not to tell any of the people in Amity Park for some reason, and of course it was Jack, Jazz and Danny's father, who had found the letter. It said to tell the school he was sick and that he would be back soon.
Of course her father had obliged. He threw the letter in the trash, only for Jazz to find. Jazz hadn't told her mother, however, in fear that Maddie would not be as...there's really no other word for it, stupid as her father. No, her mother wasn't that gullible.
She found Danny's phone in her parents room while they were in the lab. Currently, she was in her library of a room, debating whether she should call Sam and Tucker or not. She took a deep breath and dialed Sam's phone.
"Danny?" She heard Sam's hopeful voice on the other end of the phone.
"No, Jazz. Listen, Sam, can we talk? Either at you or Tuckers house?" I asked tentatively.
"Why do you have Danny's phone?" Sam asked.
"That's what I want to talk to you about!" Jazz rolled her eyes.
"Fine. Come to my house, it's 7546 Poltergeist street. I'll call Tucker and tell him to come too." Sam's sigh was barely audible.
"Thanks, I'll be there soon." Jazz grabbed the letter and her keys and started up her car, driving it to Sam's house. She knocked on the door and Sam answered.
"Tucker somehow managed to get here first." Sam sighed.
"Predators, Sam, we're fast so we can catch our food." Tucker called from somewhere behind her.
"Yeah, and that's why I can beat the pulp out of you in P.E." Sam scoffed, inviting Jazz inside.
"Alright guys, enough about your veggie meat war, this is important!" Jazz huffed. Sam and Tucker went quiet, but were still glaring one another down. "It's about Danny."
That got their attention. "Where is he?" "Why's he been gone so long?" "Why hasn't he called us?" "Is Danny okay?" "Is he hurt?" "Is he actually sick?" "Is the sickness something ghost related?" Both Sam and Tucker rushed Jazz with their questions.
"Calm down and I'll tell you!" Jazz yelled above them. They froze as Jazz took out the envelope. Sam snatched it from her. She read it down, then looked at the name.
"Bruce Wayne? I think I've been to one of his parties once. Mom made me wear the worst dress ever. Do you think he might be related to Vlad somehow?" Sam asked. Jazz nodded.
"That's exactly what I'm thinking." Jazz sighed.
"Well, you're in luck. My parents got invited to one of his parties, but they couldn't go. I've got 4 tickets to go there. Me and Tucker can pretend to be a couple, and you can come too, but you'll want to bring a date." Sam smirked. "Like Dash. We might actually need him, and he has a huge crush on you. It's perfect!"
"Hold up!" Jazz waved her arms. "I am not going with Dash! No way-"
"It's for Danny's sake." Sam's voice lingered.
"Ugh, fine." Jazz sighed. "Do you have a dress I can barrow? If I ask my parents, they'll probably give me a HAZMAT suit."
"Sure thing. Tucker, you have a suit, right?" Sam asked.
"I have a $20 one I got from the thrift store." Tucker shrugged.
"You come on too then." Sam rolled her eyes.
Sam lead them up to her room. She pulled out a fancy blue dress that was too big for her and gave it to Jazz with obvious happiness to be getting rid of the fluorescent color. Then for Tucker, she gave him one of her fathers old suits that fit him almost perfectly.
"Keep them." She added. Now Jazz had to go and invite none other than Dash Baxter.
