I look into his beautiful eyes and smile. I don't know how to react. This closeness makes me nervous and unsure. Why does he have so much influence on me? "Do you show me the beach, Sarah?", Shawn asks and stands up. He helps me to stand up too and looks at my clothes. "Would you like to wear a sweater from me? It's a little bit cold outside." I'm only wearing a T-Shirt so I say yes. Shawn goes to his commode and picks up a green sweater. "Here. It's my favourite so take care of it!", he says smiling. I nod and put it on. The sweater is warm and cozy. "Thank you!", I say. Together we go out of the hotel and walk down the streets. It's dark outside but the lights of the streets are on. "How old are you, Sarah?" I look at the sky. "I'm 16 years old. In 4 days I'll be 17." "So your Birthday is on the 15th august?" "Yes.", I reply. Shawn became 19 this year, so he is 2 years older than me. "Cool!", he says. When we arrive at the beach, we stop. Shawn and I look at the water and the beautiful sky. "It's beautiful." Shawn looks at me and smiles. "Thank you, Sarah." "For what?" I'm astonished. "For bringing me here." A smile creeps on my lips. "You're welcome!" Suddenly Shawn puts off his shoes and goes to the sea. He goes a little bit into the water. I watch him. The wind blows through his long brown hair and he smiles with closed eyes. He looks so happy and carefree. Shawn turns around and his eyes meet mine. "Come here!", he shouts. I put off my shoes too and walk to the water. I stop next to him. "The quiet is so beautiful. Only the sea and us.", he says. He's right. It's wonderful.
