"Are you done yet?" Scott groaned dramatically, watching Mitch pull a sweater over his head. "Yep," the brunette chirped, grinning innocently at his boyfriend and walking over to him. "Can I get a kiss?" Mitch wrapped his arms around the taller man and Scott sighed but couldn't stop himself from smiling. "Of course honey."
He leaned down and kissed his boy happily, both of them smiling into it. "Now, food." Scott announced when they pulled away, causing Mitch to laugh. "Definitely," he replied.

Scott held up his menu, pointing at a picture of waffles. "Mitchy," he smiled. "Look at these. Oh my God, they look so good." Mitch looked up from his own menu and giggled. "Wow," he replied. "They really do."
Smiling happily, Scott closed his menu. He wanted waffles. "What are you gonna get?" He asked his boyfriend. "Hm, I think I want french toast. It sounds amazing." Scott nodded, his stomach grumbling at the thought of food.
"It really does." Scott agreed. Their waitress finally came by and the couple ordered their breakfast, thanking her after. "So," Scott began once she was gone. "Yeah?" Mitch asked, taking a sip of his coffee.
"There's something I want to talk to you about and this is probably not a great time, but I've been thinking a lot about it." Mitch was curious now. Scott rarely ever seemed nervous about anything but he clearly was now and Mitch took the blonde's hand in his own for comfort, resting them on the table.
He took a deep breath. "How do you feel about marriage?" Scott asked, watching Mitch carefully for his reaction. The brunette thought about it, then smiled. "I like the idea of it, but find a lot of the traditions to be kinda stupid and pointless," he replied finally.
Mitch's heart was pounding in his chest and he was surprised that he wasn't blushing yet. Scott, his boyfriend Scott, had been thinking about marriage. Mitch certainly hadn't seen that one coming, but it felt amazing.
"I completely agree with you," Scott grinned, surprising Mitch again. "Marriage should be fun, but still special, not traditional and uptight."
They couple smiled at eachother, both thinking about weddings and, in Scott's case, proposing. Mitch opened his mouth to speak when the waitress appeared beside them again, this time holding their breakfasts.
"Here you go," she said, handing them both their food. "Enjoy your meal." She turned to go but Scott stopped her. "Wait, can I get a glass of apple juice please?" He asked, and the waitress smiled. "Yeah, of course. I'll be right back with that."
Scott nodded happily. "Okay, thanks." He answered and she walked away. "Apple juice?" Mitch raised an eyebrow at Scott, who shrugged. "I like it." Mitch giggled, rolling his eyes. "And I like you. Very much." The blonde beamed at him. "I feel the same way about you... and apple juice."
