Chapter 82

                                    

                                          
*Mia's point of view*
       "Why are you taking my Rice Krispie Treats?!", I yell smacking the box out of Christina's hands. "I'm trying to smuggle them into Disney!", Christina exclaims. "Then continue", I say. "Thank you but I'm going to need some help", Christina says. I shrug and start to open boxes. "Okay so basically I'm putting them in a bag and we tape the bag to my stomach. Hopefully we can make it look like a baby bump", Christina explains. I decide not to question her and just go with it. I tape part of the bag on the lower part of her stomach and the sides. We leave the top open so we can put the treats inside. When we put as many treats inside we tape the top. "Perfect!", Christina chirps. "Rice Krispies", I mumble grabbing one from the pantry.
       "Are you ready to go to Disney?", Zach asks. "Yes!", Christina and I answer in unison. Zach looks at Christina's stomach. "Want to touch?", She offers. Zach touches her stomach. "What is that?", He questions. "Rice Krispies", Christina answers. "Did you put any Oreos in?", Zach questions. "No space", Christina says. "Rude", Zach mumbles. "Time to go!", Jonah yells. Christina jumps on my back. "I am a pregnant woman! Out of the way Herron!", Christina screams. I run off with her on my back. We run out the door and I put her down next to the car. "Baby!", Erika exclaims patting Christina's stomach. "I'm not going to question it", Daniel says. "Then I'll tell you", I say. I climb into the car and explain Christina's brilliant plan to sneak Rice Krispies in because they're delicious. "What are you most excited for?", Daniel questions. "The princesses", I say. "But you already are a queen", Zach says. "I know", I sass. Zach chuckles and puts his arm around me.
       "Do you think cuddling someone else counts as cheating?", Jonah asks. "Depends who the person is", I say. "Is wonder what Mia would do if Zach cheated on her", Daniel laughs. "Probably hit him on the head with a book calmly and then claw his eyes out", I shurg. "Oh! I have an idea!", Erika exclaims. I raise my eyebrows instantly interested in Erika's most likely insane idea. "You can tell him the story about Marco", Erika explains. I play off my confusion with a smirk. I guess I'll come up with a crazy story. "Marco cheated on me so we glued his hands on to a cactus", I explain casually. Zach's eyes winden in fear. "We're kidding", Erika laughs. "I'm sure you won't cheat so your hands and the cactus are safe", I joke. Zach rests his head on my shoulder. "I can feel all your gel on my shoulder", I inform.
       "Do you ever wonder what Zach says about you?", Daniel questions with a smirk. Zach lifts his head and shoots Daniel a warning look. "Tell me", I plead. "He likes the way you smell." Zach sighs and folds his arms. "And that you're the perfect height." "You have smooth skin." "That's enough", Zach mumbles. "Continue", I say nudging him. He looks at me and I send him a cheeky grin "He says the songs he's been working on are about you." "He likes the way your eyes squint when you smile really big." "He likes the way you giggle when you're in a silly mood." "He says you're the most brave girl." "And he likes how your hair smells." 
       "That's enough", Zach says putting his hands over my ears. "That's the wrong way to tell them to shut up. You obviously have to scream random things at the top of your lungs", I explain. "Watermelon!" "Spoon!" "Beans!" "Cereal!" "Noodles!" "Goats!" "Cats!", I yell. "Vans!", Zach joins in. We spend the rest of the ride playing 'who can say the most random thing' at the top of our lungs.
       We all get out of the car and walk to entrance. Christina goes to give her ticket to the man but she's stopped. "Ma'ma what's under your shirt?", The man questions. "Skin", Christina replies sarcastically. "I really don't think your skin is square dhaped", The man says staring at her stomach. "I'm sorry but are you making fun of my wife?", Daniel questions putting one arm around Christina and the other on the Rice Krispies. "Do we have a problem here?", A manager questions. "No", The man replies at the same time that Christina answers, "Yes." The manager raises her eyebrows at the man. "He's bullying me for my pregnancy bump!", Christina cries out. The manager gives the man a stern look. "Have a lovely day in Disney", The man says. "I will have a swell day", Christina huffs, marching into the park with her head held high. I chuckle and give the man my annual pass. Christina and I wait for the rest of our group. 
       "What ride are we going on first?", I ask. "We need to meet a Disney princess first", Erika says. "Well, we're in Disney and we're queens so same thing", I shrug. "Okay but princesses aren't as great so I want to rub it in their face", Erika whines. "Fine", I agree. Zach intertwines our fingers. We all walk into the place to meet the princesses. The Little Mermaid is singing to kids. I immediately notice she messed up the words. "I'm over this", I tell Zach. "We'll meet up with you guys later", Zach says. We walk out to look for something to do. 
        "I believe that our long distance relationship will work out fine", Zach says as we wait in line to ride his favorite ride. "I mean soul mates aren't neighbors so we'll be fine", I agree. "And we'll be perfectly fine because I love you", Zach says kissing my forehead. "I love you", I smile. "Another reason that proves we can make a long distance relationship work", Zach says. "Yeah and it isn't too bad. I've tried to fix a schedule so I can see you a few times and you can come to France", I explain. 
        "Are you trying to get me to go to the city of love with you?", Zach jokes wiggling his eyebrows. "I mean who wouldn't want to go to the city of love with Zach Herron", I laugh. "I think everyone wants to go", Zach sasses. "Sassy Herron." I laugh at Zach as he pretends to flip his hair. "I need to know how it's possible that I lived without a Sassy Herron in my life", I say. "I don't know how I lived without the most perfect person in my life", Zach says putting his arm around my waist. I grin wondering for the millionth time how I got so lucky.
        We get on a few rides. We played our signature pickup line game in the lines. I think I won for sure. Zach and I walk hand in hand towards the castle. "Balloons!", I exclaim posting at the Mickey Mouse Balloons. "Do you want one? Wait, nevermind", Zach says. He pulls me over to the worker selling balloons. "Which one do you want?", Zach asks. I point to a pink one. Zach pays the woman and she hands me the balloon. "Thank you", I say flashing a smile at Zach. "Anything to see my queen smile", Zach says. "Or maybe you just wanted to say something cheesy", I laugh nudging him. "A man can only dream of saying something cheesy to Mia Evans", Zach says. "Then you can start dreaming when you're a man", I joke. "I guess I'm an early bloomer because I'm already dreaming", Zach says. 
        "Wouldn't it be great to be in a parade?" "Mia, I'm trying to be romantic", Zach chuckles. "Your face is already enough romance, calm down Romeo", I laugh. "So you like my face?", Zach asks wiggling his eyebrows. "I'm pretty sure the whole world knows I like your face", I shrug. "Or maybe the whole world likes your face", Zach says. "Does that make you the whole world then?", I question. "Only if you're my whole universe", Zach says. I smile and grab his face. I press my lips on to his. I get the same feeling I always get but it gets a little better and stronger each time our lips come in contact. Who knew I could love Zach so much.
         "Hurry up lovebirds!", Daniel yells. I look around and spot our group. I drag Zach over to them. "I want a balloon too", Erika says. "Where am I supposed to get you a balloon?", Jack asks. "The balloon man", Zach answers. 
       "Mickey Mouse is that you?!", Erika yells. She runs over to Mickey. "Hi!", Erika greets him excitedly. Mickey waves at her. "I love you but don't tell my boyfriend", Erika says. Jack rolls his eyes. Mickey doesn't do anything. "Want to hear a joke?", Erika questions with her familiar mischievous smirk. Mickey nods. Erika gets closer to Mickey. What could she possibly do this time? By now kids have gathered to meet Mickey. One little brunette boy seems the most excited. Erika quickly grabs his big head off. "Got you!", Erika screeches running off with the head. The young man looks embarrassed. I mean if I were a headless Mickey Mouse I'd be embarrassed too. The little brunette boy starts to sob. "Run!", I yell. We all run towards Erika. "Out of the way!", Erika yells before rolling the head to a crowd of people. I laugh as we go after her.
       Erika stops in front of the Disney castle. We all catch up to her. "Our castle is bigger than this one", Erika informs. "We have a dragon that gourds it", I add. "Does he eat Lucky Charms?", Corbyn asks. "No, he feasts on pretzels", I answer. "The peasants eat grass", Erika adds. "It's rainbow grass." "Let's pake some tictures", Daniel suggests. We have a photo session in front of the castle. I get cute photos with Zach. I switch my lock screen to a picture of Zach looking at me while I laugh at a stupid pickup line he said.
        "Can we get food?", Erika asks. "Yeah", Christina says pulling out a Rice Krispie. I snatch it out of her hands. "That was mine!", Erika exclaims trying to take it from me. I shove it in my mouth immediately regretting it. "Wait, you look like a chipmunk!", Zach exclaims. He takes a photo of me. When I finally eat the Rice Krispie. "Have you moved on from your Otter fetish?", I question. Zach rolls his eyes and sighs. "It was a joke!", He defends himself. "Maybe food will cheer you up", I say. "Feed me", He demands. We go and get food then we walk around so more. We get on a few more rides. I'm mainly excited for the fireworks. 
        Finally the time comes for us to wait for the fireworks to start. I think the parade is the best after the fireworks. Erika tied my balloon on to my little backpack that can't fit much but is cute. "Mia", Zach says. I turn to look at him. "I love you", He says. I smile at him. "I love you too Mr. Herron", I giggle. "Good because I got you a necklace with my name on it. I'll trade it for my last name in the future", He says holding up a gold necklace that says "Zach" on it. "Smooth", I laugh. I turn and let him put it around my neck. When he's done I kiss him. "Thank you, I love it." Zach grins and pecks my lips. He puts one hand on my face. "You probably deserve a lot better but I swear I'm the one that wants to wake up with you next to me everyday the most", Zach says. My heart melts for the millionth time today. "I think you're perfect for me", I assure.
       Zach brings my face closer to his. He breaks the gap between our lips. I can feel the fireworks and sparks flying everywhere. I can also hear the fireworks but that just might be the actual fireworks. I pull away and smile at him. "A new phone and one wrong number are the best things that have ever happened to me because they led me to you."
