Stiles got up out of bed and stretched, hearing his ankles crack as he sighs in relief. Today is the first day of proper filming. Until today they had only filmed the scenes needed for the trailer.
He got dressed into a white t-shirt and black jeans, quickly slipping on his white converse and grabbing a pair of sunglasses to shield his eyes from the blaring sun. He quickly jumps into his black Porsche and starts the engine. It roared into life as he set off to Set A where they would be filming the season.
When he got out of the car he lifted his sunglasses so they were sitting on top of his head. He walked in through the doors and onto set. Already orders were being made and props were being carried around. He could see some of the actors going over their lines together. Some weren't there so he assumed they would be getting ready.
He was quickly whisked away by one of the makeup artists, Shane. He sat down and waited for him to be done. His hair was gelled so it wasn't a complete mess and the bags under his eyes were lightened so they wouldn't be so noticeable.
Not long after, he was being thrown clothes to put on. His character, Zach, was the lead. He was the cool, popular guy who everyone liked. He was handed a long white shirt that clung to his muscles and a pair of ripped jeans, along with some black vans.
Derek came rushing through. "Are we ready?" His voice boomed towards Stiles, belittling him and making him feel inferior. He didn't like that feeling.
"All ready." Stiles was led to sit behind the cameras and watch Lydia filming the first scene.
(Will be using normal names, but remember they're acting.)
Lydia sat in her room listening to music, it was blaring as the actor who played her mom (Liz Forbes) came in and pulled her earphone out.
"Go to bed, it's the first day of school tomorrow." She told her sternly.
"Geez lady, learn to knock." Lydia rolled her eyes and put her earphone back in. Liz pulled it back out. They were doing their lines perfectly.
"You can't talk to me like that, I already told you once. Go to bed." She points to the bed on stage and Lydia reluctantly gets into it. Liz turns out the light and shuts the door as Lydia rolls over to find a more comfortable position.
"That was great!" Derek smiles from behind camera as he sits in his chair. "Let's try a few more times to get the best version, we need to see a mother-daughter connection but also a certain iciness towards each other." Lydia and Liz both nod and get into positions.
After they had filmed it a good 8 more times and a couple more scenes including Isaac, Jackson and Malia it was time for Stiles' scene with Lydia. Derek's voice raises above everyone else's chatter.
"Alright Stiles! This is the scene where we meet the main character, this is his story. He just shares it with the others. We need to really make an impression."
Stiles nods in return and gets into his position, leaning against the locker at the high school scene with his black backpack over one shoulder.
Lydia runs up to him and wraps her arms around him.
"Hey Bri." Stiles says and hugs her back, smiling from ear to ear. He couldn't help but make the hug linger for a moment. She smelled like cinnamon, not an overwhelming smell, but it was a nice scent; one that he wanted more of. He could feel her slow, calming heartbeat against his lower chest while she tightly clung onto him.
To his slight disappointment, she let go. The knot in his stomach was gone and so was the heat that they shared. He didn't like her. He couldn't. He didn't even know her. It was just a feeling he got from hugging her.
