A few months later, everyone from Dreamland still hadn't returned, Ruby was still gone, and Yang was still depressed. One morning, Yang was sitting on the couch, with Kirby sitting next to her. "Poyo," Kirby pointed at the TV. "Let's see what's on," Yang told him. She then turned on the TV, but no matter what channel she turned to, it was only bad news about Beacon. Yang then turned off the TV. "Sorry Kirby, it doesn't look like anything there's anything good on right now," she apologized. "Poyo..." Kirby replied. "Channel DDD is usually funny, but I bet after the attack on Beacon, it's only reporting the bad news too," Kirby thought. Just then,the front door opened. A male voice said, "I'm home!" Yang and Kirby turned around to see Yang's father, Taiyang. "Hey Dad," Yang greeted. "Hi," Kirby also greeted. Taiyang then asked, "Guess what came in today!" "What?" Yang asked. "I can't wait for you to try this," Taiyang said as he put his groceries down and then put a long box in front of Yang. "It's... for me?" Yang asked. "For you and you only," Taiyang answered. Yang opened the box to see a robotic right arm. Taiyang then said, "Brand new, state of the art Atlas tech. You know, I thought I was gonna have to pull some strings, call in a few favors, but you earned this one all on your own, kiddo. Before I could even talk to him, General Ironwood already had one of his top scientists working on this, for you. He wanted me to tell you that you fought admirably. You should be proud of yourself. So, are you going to try it on?" "I uh... I'm not feeling too great right now. Maybe later?" Yang responded. Yang then went upstairs to take a nap. "This is terrible!" Kirby thought. "Me and Grandpa have just GOT to make Mommy feel better!"
