Rushing at a faster pace through the halls, the gurney's wheels were heard rolling as you were carried into the emergency room.

Your back laid on the table as you blankly stared upwards towards the ceiling. Your mind started to go to dark places when a thought came into your head. You imagined the look of the hallways, and pictured the lights hanging brightly from the ceiling, and you couldn't even see the faintest of rays from them.

Genji stared down from above as he walked along side the table and held your hand tightly.

As the gurney passed morrisons office, he began to stray away so he could enter the information he had into his database, disregarding the group completely. Genji, now eyeing his every move thought of a plan in his mind but, wouldn't pursue it until he made sure you were ok.

The sound of sliding doors opened as the mobile table passed through them and strolled its way into the middle of the room. It was brightly lit with round ring lights hanging on the ceiling. Multiple medical supplies lay neatly scattered amungst a long table at the side of the room.

"I'll will be right back (y/n), i'm getting the supplies needed."

Angela stood for just a moment as a lost head nod was shown giving her the green light to move foward.

While genji still stood by your side shaking a little bit at the sight of your being, he felt so ashamed and defeated when he failed to protect you. A trembling hand still engaged yours as it tightly gripped it with unmentioned, yet implied, pleas for forgivness.

You made an 'o' with your mouth as you slightly moved your head in genji's direction. You could feel his anguish, his desire to do better, and his silent cry for your answer.

It was only a subtle movement with genji's attention unfazed from you but, in genji's mind, it had felt like he was practically on his knees saying he was sorry over and over again. It was heartbraking...

You smiled a little bit at genji's sadness. You felt bad for him but, you were in safe hands now believing angela could patch you up as fast as lightning, "I'll be fine genji." Your slight smile assured genji your well being but, couldn't help his. He would have to take care of it later, now...now was time to address another important matter...

Jack closed the door to his office now letting the device process onto his computer. It would take a while, not like it did back at the facility so he had time to get some alcohol.

His attention dazed as multiple thoughts on what could be on that device killed him.

As his pace started to pick up, his eyes could never leave the floor. It had helped calm his mind, seeing something as blank as the floor could help him concentrate more on his thoughts better than subconciously taking in the complex hallway around him.

His eyes traced the floor until it had seen metal feet facing towards him.

"Huh?..MMPH!!"

Genji's hands instantly grasped jacks shirt as he picked him up, forcefully rushing and pinning him up against the nearest wall with an intent on getting a message through jacks thick skull.

Jack made a loud grunt as his body hit the wall, "Gahhh! Shimada what the hell is going on?!"

"How dare you care about some stupid device when your most powerful agent is in immense pain!?"

Jacks mouth widened as he let out a soft gasp.

"He put everything on the line with me. He was afraid and scared of what could happen...AND ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS YOUR DEVICE!"
