Sirius and Madison stood breathing heavily, staring at each other, still in their embrace. Madison shook her head at the boy's comment of 'I will snog you in the common room', a smile watching its way onto her lips. Sirius continued to smirk, his eyes searching hers. He tried to find some sort of clue as to what she was feeling but it was difficult to decipher. One moment she was scared, the next she was fine, the next she and he were kissing, the next they were avoiding each other. He knew how he felt but Madison was a mystery. "Say something." He whispered, his smirk faltering into a frown. "Please, Madsie."

Madison blinked slowly, taking in a breath. "I don't know what to say."

"How do you feel?"

"I-I don't know, Sirius." She admitted.

"Well, that kiss must have meant something. Surely."

"I don't know."

"Madison, how can you not know? It's not fucking potions, you don't have specific ingredients to add, you feel what you feel." Sirius sighed stepping away from her, the tingly feeling on his waist disappearing.

The room around them was silent, so silent that you would be able to hear a pin drop. She stayed quiet, procrastinating over everything that was happening. It was all happening very fast and much like a rollercoaster. "Uh-thanks?"

Sirius scoffed and clapped slowly, "Are you that dense? I bloody like you and have shown you that I do and all that you say is I don't know and thanks? At least I know where I stand."

The boy went to turn away but the girl clasped his wrist, "Listen, I'm confused. I don't know how I feel, nor do I know how to react. This is all new to me and-"

"Don't."Sirius said, "Just don't."

Two weeks later and everything was back to normal. Sirius and Madison played it off as if nothing happened, yet everyone except the girl herself could see how hurt Sirius was. He hadn't been sleeping, he had bags clinging to his eyes and he was jumping from girl to girl more frequently than he did before. A minimum of a girl a day, and yet even though word had spread about the moment between him and Madison, that didn't stop the females pouncing on him and enjoying his every touch.

Madison still wasn't talking to the rest of the group like she once did and was still staying away from them. However! Today was the day that she would see herself transform. Yes, it was a full moon and she had chocolate ready for Remus the next day but she wanted to see if the months worth of training was a success. In the center of the Room Of Requirement, she began to chant with the tip of her wand pressed to her chest, "Amato Animo Animato Animagus," This was the point of no return, Maddie began to feel a fiery pain, an intense double heartbeat, and a creature came into her mind into which she hopes she would transform into.

Madison doubled over in pain, "Maddie!" Cried a voice from behind her. They clutched onto her, keeping her steady but she pushed them off. Her bones began to shift, and hair sprouted from her skin, her nose stretching and widening. Her back shaped into an uncomfortable position as she bent over, her hands becoming paws and her nails, claws. "Merlin's beard!" Exclaimed James, who pushed his glasses further up his nose. "You've been training to be an animagus! That's why you haven't been eating properly!"

There before him sat a black leopard or panther if you wish. She had a gorgeous black coat and her deep brown eyes were bigger and darker. Her teeth were large and scary-looking much like her sharp claws. Bearing her teeth in a jesting manner Madison leaped at James, knocking him to the ground and pinning him down. She growled lowly and for a moment the boy was frightened, but the glowing, exciting look in her eyes showed that she was only playing about. "I can't believe this! And Padfoot, was he in on this too?" Backing away cheekily, Madison bowed her head and laid down, staring up at him. "Oh, Madison, what are we going to do with you?"

Madison shifted back, painfully into her human self and James embraced her into a hug. "Moony is not going to be happy about your illegalities."

"He can argue and give me all the fatherly tone he has but I can take it. He can't make me do anything nor can he stop me, now I am helping him through his transformation because he helped me through my shit. What animal am I?"

"A panther, black leopard in other words."

"Wicked!"Madison tried to transform once again, and she did. James joined her and the two messed around for a while before collapsing on a sofa in the room. "How'd you know I was here?"

"The map." James said, "Sirius checks it all of the time to make sure you are okay and none of the snakes are near you. He really cares about you y'know."

"I know, I just don't know what to do." She sighed.

"How do you feel?"She shrugged, and James thought for a moment or two. "Right, when he kissed you, what did you feel like? Did you feel anything in your stomach?"

"Mhm, there was a sort of stabbing pain, that tickled slightly."

James cracked a grin, "You like him!"

"No! I can't!

"Madison-I don't know your middle name-Parker, you bloody like Sirius, and you know it!"

"Piss off Potter!"

"You do!"

"PISS OFF POTTER!"
