Chapter 12: Not Feline Happy

                                    

                                          
Kirby and Team RWBY had just witnessed Pyrrah defeat Team CRDL all by herself. "She may even be stronger than Meta Knight!" Kirby thought. A man named Mercury then volunteered to fight Pyrrah next. They battled for a bit, but before Pyrrah could defeat Mercury, he forfeit, which both annoyed and disappointed Pyrrah.
                          
Later that day, Sun asked Blake to the dance that would be taking place that weekend. She responded, "I don't have time for a stupid dance. I thought you of all people would get that."
                          
"We want you to go to the dance," Ruby told Blake later that night. 
                          
"That's ridiculous," Blake responded. 
                          
"Blake, we're worried about you. This investigation is starting to mess with your head," Yang said. 
                          
"You can't sleep, you hardly eat, and your grades have been suffering," Weiss pointed out. 
                          
"You think I care about grades? People's lives are at stake!" Blake argued. 
                          
"Poyo," Kirby said, trying to calm her down. 
                          
"We know, and we're all still trying to figure out what Torchwick and Dedede are up to. All we're asking is that you take it easy for one day," Yang said. "Besides, me and Weiss are planning the whole event! We'll make sure you have the perfect night." 
                          
"And once it's all over, we'll return for our search, rested and ready," Weiss assured. 
                          
"So what do you think?" Ruby asked. 
                          
"I think it's a big waste of time. I'm going the the library," Blake answered. 
                          
She started to leave but Kirby stopped her. 
                          
"Poyo..." he said, obviouslly meaning something like, "Please go..." 
                          
"I'm sorry Kirby," Blake said to him as she left. 
                          
"Poyo..." Kirby said sadly. 
                          
"I know how you feel Kirby," Ruby comforted him. 
                          
"Don't worry guys, I'll get her to come somehow," Yang promised. 
                          
Just then there was a knock on the door. Weiss opened it to see Jaune with a guitar sing, "Weiss!" 
                          
Weiss then slammed the door shut. Outside, he said, "Oh come on! Open the door! I promise not to sing!" 
                          
Weiss opened the door again. "I lied!" Jaune sang again. "Weiss Schu-nee, will you accompany me, to the dance on... Sunday!?" 
                          
"No," Weiss answered as she slammed the door shut again. 
                          
"And that's why you're called the Ice Queen," Yang said. Kirby then laughed at both Yang's joke and Jaune's performance.
