Thanks to Brelyn's Debut, there was a huge party after. Luckily, Evie had planned for the dancing, so made certain parts of the girls' dresses detachable if they were too long to dance in. The four girls sat at a table with their parents. They were all laughing and enjoying their time together.
Elaina sat in silence. Brelyn began to notice, but she knew exactly what was going through her mind. "Hey dad," Brelyn said. "You said you would do anything for me right?"
"Yes," Ben replied. "What can I do for you?"
Brelyn looked at Elaina. Elaina looked at Brelyn. "Well you see," Brelyn began, "I understand there's an elementary school nearby. As you know, there are a ton of innocent children at the orphanage."
"Yes," Elaina interrupted. Evie and Doug also began to take notice of the conversation. Brelyn rubbed Elaina's shoulder to let her know to continue. "One of them is a seven-year-old girl named Arianna. Do you think, I don't know, she and a few other children her age could come to Auradon and attend that elementary school? They deserve a chance just as we did."
Ben looked around the table. All four girls had pleading eyes. "Yes, yes of course. Evie?"
"Already on it!" Evie replied.
"Hey Evie!" a voice called from behind.
"Dizzy!" Evie said as she got up and hugged Dizzy. "It's been a while. How have you been?"
"I've been great. I see you got your daughter back."
Evie looked back at her daughter. "Yeah, she's amazing."
"I see she wants to give other orphan kids a chance at life in Auradon," Dizzy said. "As your mother always said: The poison apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
Evie chuckled. "Yeah. She's so much like me. It's unbelievable."
"I also see her date is my cousin's son," Dizzy mentioned. "You or Doug concerned about her dating?"
"I'm not too worried," Evie admitted. "Elaina says she can't see herself dating Aaron, but who knows. Doug, I'm not sure. He's probably a little wary about the situation."
"By the way," Dizzy said getting a little serious, "do you happen to know any of the names of the children Elaina wants to bring to Auradon?"
"I know one of them is named Arianna," Evie told her. "I know she and Elaina were very close at the orphanage."
"Interesting," Dizzy said nodding. "Anyway, I gotta go. Nice seeing you Evie. Take care of that family of yours."
"I will," Evie replied. Evie went back to the table when the music caught the attention of everyone. Evie gasped. "I love this song!"
"Me too!" Lonnie replied. "Remember high school?"
"Come on!" Ben said grabbing the attention of everyone.
