I look to the tall dark figure above me. Standing slowly, feeling his eyes.
                          
Looking at him wearily, "What are you...?" 
                          
He stares at me moving in. His face centimeters from mine. My heart thumps against my chest violently. 
                          
He's looking for something.
                          
I take a sharp breath smelling his cologne. 
                          
He lifts his hand, I freeze.
                          
He brushes a strand of hair behind my ear. 
                          
"I should kill you." He says softly, making me shake. 
                          
Acting like I'm not bothered, I take a step closer. "But you didn't."
                          
His eyes flicker to that familiar bright blue color. 
                          
"I'm not scared of you." I whisper.
                          
"Of course you're not scared. You're terrified."
                          
I shake my head 'no'. Really I mean yes.
                          
"I can hear your heart from here."
                          
What if he rips it out?
                          
"Your thoughts are loud..." 
                          
He looks me up and down."Why would I save you just to kill you?" 
                          
I need to get away from him. He makes me feel unsure.
                          
Staring me down, I look away immediately. 
                          
"I don't know who you are, or... what you are." 
                          
"Just..." Placing his hand over my heart, "thank me."
                          
My heart skips a beat. "Thank you." I mutter subconsciously.
                          
Pulling his hand away, I graze my lips bewildered. "What did you just-"
                          
He scoffs, his lip twitching. "Emotion manipulation. I have to be somewhere in ten minutes." 


                          
He fucks with my brain. 
                          
I should want to get away.
                          
I nod walking away seeing this as goodbye.
                          
"You're coming, too...Isabella." My name leaving his lips makes my feet melt to the concrete.
                          
I feel him get closer. His breath fans over my neck. 
                          
Turning quickly I face him, "Where?" 
                          
Intrigued, I don't know why I want to be around him so badly. 
                          
I know I shouldn't, but... maybe its because he remembers my name. 
                          
Maybe- maybe it's more.
                          
"Seeing you've stayed around so long, I think you'll like it." 
                          
I smirk.
                          
There has been sum confusion on these chapters. So let me sum it up. 
                          
Ace as we can see is obviously supernatural. He killed all the men that tried to hurt Isabella. If you've been wondering who the 'dark creature' is, its been Ace. Its always been Ace. We just haven't figured out its name until now.
