Kristine's POV

"Taylor..." I began.

"Yeah?"

"We...we need to pack your bags."

"Oh, yeah."

We trudged to her room, and pulled out her suitcases. But the time we finished, it was about 4.

"I, I guess it's time for me to leave." Taylor said.

"I'll come with you. What time are they leaving anyways?"

"5. They need to get a head start. Can we get some Starbucks on the way?"

"Sure. I'll drive." As we drove towards town, I could hear Taylor snoring. We had a long night, and it served her right. I let her sleep and ordered our drinks for us. I came back into the car and she woke up.

"Is that an Oreo Frappucino?" She asked, waking up to her favorite drink.

"Straight from the secret menu." I said, smiling. She sleepily took it from my hands and sipped it little by little.

I sat back in my seat with my regular water. Yeah, I'm boring. Taylor finally came back to consciousness and nearly finished her cup. We sat in silence.

The orange glow from the streetlight came through the window, setting the depressing mood. And just to make it all the worse, it began to rain outside. The solid orange glow turned into broken pieces as the rain trickled down the windshield. I checked the clock, it was 4:45. Without a word, I pulled out of the parking lot and into the street. We drove in silence to the parking lot where the boys were meeting. It was completely silent, except for the small rumbling of the engine of the tour bus.

The side of it was plastered with their faces, smiling the cheesy smile they always had. "High School Memories" was in huge red letters above them. As we waited for the rest of the boys to show up, we turned off the radio and looked at the stars. I turned to look at her face, and saw she had a frown on her face.

Maybe she was thinking the same way I was.

Kristine opened the sunroof so the two girls could peer out. The stars shone brightly against the dark black sky. Just then, a shooting star appeared and both girls witnessed it. Simultaneously, the tilted their heads back and shut their eyes, making the wish they both wanted the most.

Just to know what to do next.

Taylor's POV

The boys pulled up in their separate cars one after the other. Niall, Liam, Louis, Zayn, Harry, and-wait.

Who was that?!

A girl with long almost-black brown hair stepped out with Harry. She was the three T's. Tan, tall, and thin. She was pretty, I'll admit, but what was she doing here with him?

She had a black Prada bag to match her dress. Her head held high, she walked up to me to say hi. I stepped out of the door, smiling. Might as well be nice, I'm stuck with her across America.

"Hi! I'm Kendall! It's so nice to finally meet you! Harry's told me so much about you!" She said, arms opened.

"Hi! It's nice to meet you too!" I said as I accepted her hug. Kristine stepped out of the car as well, smiling. It wasn't a real smile, though. It was a fake one. The kind a girl had when she was around someone she absolutely despised.

"Hey, Taylor? Can I talk to you for a sec?" Kris asked. I nodded, and stood behind the car with her. "TAYLOR DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT IS?!" She whisper shouted at me.

"Yeah. Kendall."

"No. Kendall Jenner. Harry's GIRLFRIEND."

Oh.

"She seems nice, Kris. There's nothing wrong with her."

"Well, I just wanted to let you know. Be wary."

"Listen, you can't just run around and judge people like that. She's perfectly fine." I said flatly.

"What are you talking about?"

"You're just so judgmental sometimes." I rolled my eyes and pulled out my phone.

"Are you trying to turn this into a fight or something? Do you really want to do that?"

"I just wanted to let you know." I put my phone away and rolled my eyes again. Sheesh. What's her problem?

"Why do you always do this, Taylor? Why do you always have to make me the bad guy?"

"I'm not."

"Oh really? This has been going on for years. We fight. Everyone feels sorry for you and turns on me. We make up. We fight. Everyone feels sorry for you and gets mad at me. We make up. I could go on for hours!" She shouted.

"Stop lying, Kris!" I shouted back.

Kristine's face went blank. She stopped moving all together. She looked me dead in the eye.

"I'm not lying." She said quietly.

"Yes you are. So just shut up."

She was silent for a good 20 seconds. Which is a long time if you think about it.

"Why do you do this, Taylor?" She said so quietly I could barely hear her.

"Look, you need to stop mumbling. I-"

"I said, WHY DO YOU DO THIS?"

"I'm not doing anything!"

(Authors note: Sorry if you get mad at me for what's to follow. I just feel like I should reflect what's going on in my life for a moment.)

Harry's POV

I was just standing there, talking to the boys, when all of a sudden I heard screaming.

"THAT'S IT! That's it!" I heard Kristine scream. "I am 110% DONE with your bullcrap! I'm leaving!" She stomped to her car and slammed to door shut.

"Fine! I never liked you anyways!" I heard Taylor scream.

"FINE!" Kristine reversed so fast she almost took out the car behind her.

She pulled up next to Taylor. "AND TAKE YOUR STUPID COFFEE!" She shouted. She then threw the half-filled coffee cup at Taylor, which splattered all over her clothes. We all stood there, jaws dropped, as Kristine sped off into the distance.

"If she wants to be that way," Taylor began. "then let her be the bull crap filled little brat she is." Taylor finished solemnly. She marched to the tour bus, stopping at the door. "Is anyone else coming? Or is it just me?"

Everyone stood there silently for a moment, until they heard voices.

That sounded just like Kristine and Taylor.

No, I wasn't expecting this either.

It was originally planned to be a heartfelt moment about the love between best friends but.

Needless to say I like this version better. Don't worry. It'll get better.

Probably.
