[Ty's POV]
                          
I wake up under a tree. I now have three scars on my arm.
                          
One for my friends I may never find.
                          
One for my abusive girlfriend.
                          
One for my lover I will never have.
                          
I mean, really. Who could love a scrawny boy like me? Besides Maddie. No one could love my screwed up life. That girl, too. She ran when she saw me. Am I really that ugly? I guess so. I sigh and get up. I walk over to the pond and look at my reflection. I see a boy with brown hair covering his left eye, bags under his right eye, a skinny chin with pale skin ((haha that rhymed :3)), hazel eyes and a weak look over all. I splash the middle of my reflection, watching the ripples distort my face.
                          
Your an ugly boy.
                          
I think I know that.

I suddenly hear a rustle in the bushes and apon further investigation, I see a pair of blue-green eyes. Kinda like the girl from the other day... 
                          
My mind acts for me. "I-it's OK." I stutter. "I-I won't hurt you." I sound like one of those wildlife conservationists talking to an endangered leopard. I don't expect her to come, but she moves closer. "It's O-OK." I repeat. She comes out and smiles at me.
                          
"Hello!!" She says eagerly, practically pouncing at me. "My name is Breanne and I got stranded in the jungle a while back like you probably did well my friends said that I was too enthusiastic so they probably purposely left me out here because I probably got annoying ooh strawberries!" She said speedily before plucking a strawberry from a nearby bush and tossing it into her mouth.
                          
"Uhh, hello to you too." I managed.
                          
"You wanna hear the whole story? Well my friends and I were on a walk and I was rambling on to them about the upcoming dance and that I had been asked out by three, yes three, different guys and I could tell they were jealous because they didn't end up coming to the dance later that or they got sick or something but anyways they so RUDELY interrupted my beautiful speech and said that I was getting a little annoying but I didn't listen so I kept talking and talking and talking and they began to wonder about me so we all went on a walk in the forest and I saw a bunny so I chased after it but couldn't find my friends so I became a jungle girl and lived off what I found and such so yeah it was pretty cool and then I never did find that bunny but then when I saw you I was all like 'OMG did he get abandoned too?!" and so I was all like confused and ended up running to go get some food cuz I was really really hungry so I ran then you grabbed my foot and I was all like 'what the heck!' so I kicked you then ran off to find something and then I see you cutting yourself then passing out so I moved you under the shade and watched you as you were passed out for a day and a half so now you woke up and now I'm telling you my story!!" She said, not even stopping for a breath.
                          
"Wow." I say. 
                          
"What's your name and story??" Breanne asks with enthusiasm.
                          
"I'm Ty and I came here running from my crazy ex."
                          
"Coool!" she says, "MUCH better than my story!!"
