As far as I'm concerned, I can never love someone as much as I love Archie Andrews. As we lay here, the sun just rising, creeping in from the window to throw sunbeams across his sleeping face, I know that I love him.
His messy red hair messily lay in contrast of pale skin.
He was laying on his stomach, one arm tucked underneath the pillow and the other arm clasping my waist.
He was snoring lightly, and I couldn't help but giggle.
Apparently, it was too loud, because I had caused him to stir lightly, fluttering his eyes before waking up for good.
"Good morning princess." he yawned, sitting up to stretch.
"Morning Arch." I said, hopping out of bed to go downstairs to the kitchen.
Archie followed me down, yawning at least two more times.
"Pancakes?" I asked, and he nodded.
He took a seat at the countertop bar, watching me pull out the ingredients needed for pancakes.
"I love you," he blurted out, taking me by surprise. Archie and I have been dating for nearly a year, and had yet to exchange those words.
I dropped the spoon in which I was stirring the batter with. "I...I love you too Archie." I decided.
My heart swelled up and couldn't help but to beat a little faster.
For some reason, pancakes hadn't ever tasted so good.
