Monday 5.10pm

I posed in the giant mirror in front of me, staring at my own reflection, lit by the lights covering the rim of each length of the mirror. My satin Galvan slipdress hung beautifully on my frame, the slit going up my thigh giving me enough room to not feel constricted, and I was comfortable. I reveled in the simplicity of it.

Twirling round, I made sure nothing was out of place, and I was ready, and of course, it wouldn't hurt to have a few killer poses nailed - I didn't think I was a natural on the red carpet yet

Twirling round, I made sure nothing was out of place, and I was ready, and of course, it wouldn't hurt to have a few killer poses nailed - I didn't think I was a natural on the red carpet yet.

The door creaked open and Seb's head popped round it, a smile plastered on his face.

"Hey superstar."

I sighed deeply and smiled, my hands falling at my sides.

"Ready to go?" he asked, entering the room, but leaving the door open. He walked round to stand behind me, looking at me through the mirror, tilting his head every which way, lifting his hands up to fluff my hair up a little bit.

I swatted his hands away, chuckling, "Okay okay, I already feel like a doll with the way everyone's been fussing around me today, I don't need you to do it as well."

He laughed, bowing his head, "Sorry. You're out in 5 minutes," he glanced at his watch, "as soon as we locate Leo- I am right in saying you're walking together today, right?"

I frowned in confusion - maybe I heard him wrong?

"Wha- um, locate him?" I cocked my head to the side.

The door burst open and a swarm of people came gushing in - event organisers, people with headsets, even Lisa from tour.

Sebastian's hands gripped my upper arms and pushed me towards the door. "Change of plan, you're up."

I struggled against him, in a panic, "Wait-what,"

"Go on up, don't worry, I'll sort it."

I grabbed the bottom of my dress and lifted it up so as not to trip on it as I scurried down the stairs, so I could make my way to the red carpet.

My mind was spinning - Leo was missing? How did that even make sense? I had spent the morning with him, getting prepped alongside him, until we were separated for dressing and makeup, a good 2 or 3 hours ago.

I could already hear the bustling crowd, and was met by a woman in a headset, a clipboard in her arms and a pen tucked behind her ear.

"Penelope, you ready?"

I nodded, dazed, not saying a word. She guided me to the red carpet, and off I went. Welcomed by journalists, I made my way to the first one, and I could see other stars lining the red carpet too, further along - Jack Nicholson, Ben Affleck, Julianne Moore. But...no Leo.
